High sperm DNA fragmentation
The results have come back from my husband’s DNA fragmentation test and his level is 30%. That didn’t seem that high to us at first, but the report states that it indicates male infertility and looking online it seems pregnancy is extremely unlikely at this level 😕 We’re already contending with high

Close friends pregnancy
Hey! Hope you are all having a good evening! It’s my first time writing something on here although I have had a nosey through. A bit about our struggles, we have been TTC for 3 years and found out my husband has a low sperm count and mobility rate. We have had a first round of icsi in September which

My IVF miracle has arrived 😍😍
Morning all, After 3 failed ICSI cycles with very poor quality eggs and being advised to go for DE instead we persevered for 1 last cycle with my eggs and the result is here. My gorgeous (Yes I'm biased) little girl arrived on the 6th January weighing 5lb 13oz. I was induced at 37+5 as there were concerns

Egg collection tomorrow - 2nd round of ICSI
Hi everyone, Can't believe I'm at this stage again! Have my egg collection tomoro, very anxious and hopeful that we get some eggs. It's our 2nd cycle. Our 1st failed in August, and we didn't get any embryos to freeze so have had to go through the whole long protocol again. Less anxious than last time

Ivf cycle 2
Hi all, my husband and I undertaking Ivf again shortly. We had an nhs cycle, 1 fresh transfer, 3 frozen. On the last frozen I became pregnant but had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has had success with the embryscope and embryo glue on a fresh transfer. The evidence seems to be reassuring

IVF Waiting List
As of yesterday we have finally gone on the waiting list for ICSI IVF. Our consultant told us the current waiting list is 10 months (I'm in Northern Ireland). Has anyone any info on if waiting times are realistic or did it in fact take longer/shorter?

HSG Nightmare
What a morning. In preparation for my second ICSI cycle, I have been doing lots of investigative fertility tests including bloods, scan and an HSG (hysterosalpingogram). I have never been in so much pain. They found the tubes quickly, so it only lasted a few minutes, but afterwards I couldn’t move.

Hi it’s just a quick, myself and my partner are just starting out and we have been given a referral to a clinic for ICSI treatment. But the clinic have told us before we can start treatment we have to have blood tests done, which we have had but my partner has got to have a cystic fibrosis screening

Update after 2nd cycle icsi
Hi all , so it's taken a while for me to write this, I found out via blood test on dec 20th that out 2nd cycle had failed. It absolutely crushed both me and my partner as well as our families as we were all so sure it had worked!! All the way through treatment we kept our spirits up as we knew that it

Feeling so low.
Today I am struggling. After our bad news on Thursday I can’t seem to focus. We’ve had four rounds of icsi now the last two has ended with a bfp but I’ve miscarried both. I feel as if our time will never come, I am so sad for the baby we lost in August too and with the expected due date coming up in

Round 2 in Feb...Who's with me?!
After letting our hair down well and truly over the Christmas period (and December in general!!) taking our acupuncturists advice, Hubby and I have decided to postpone our next ICSI round until next month...so in about 4/5 weeks time! We will use Jan to detox and cut out everything bad just to give us

What do I do?
So i aoologise now, this is long!! So I am now 3 ivf cycles down, the final 2 nhs rounds were with icsi. I have low AMH and I am a carrier of the C4M2 mutation (which means my blood could be too think for implantation or could cause early miscarriage) which I take Clexane for to thin my blood. My husband's

Feeling so rough
Hi all I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I’m feeling awful, drained sickness but no sick. I’m 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I’ve had two pregnancies before naturally. This pregnancy is through icsi. I’ve never felt this rough through pregnancy before. I don’t have any energy. I’m finding

Letting Go.
I have just found out that our 8 week old embryo isn't viable. It feels so strange that the pregnancy I have hoped for for so long, seems to be continuing but my baby has no heartbeat. I have been offered medical or surgical procedures to remove the pregnancy but I am scared to put my body through any

ICSI OTD BFN 😢
Unfortunately this mornings test is BFN. Advised to do another test tomorrow but clinic says very unlikely it will change. Brown stuff all day yesterday and today, such a torture 😱. I am very sad but I had a feeling it didn’t work its weird you just know. Managing expectations has helped me overcome

*sensitive*. IVF/ICSI PGD success, birth announcement.
After four and a half years of trying, I can finally announce that I am a mummy to baby Phoebe, born 17th December at 41 weeks gestation at a whopping 9lb 6oz. After 2 natural losses, 2 very poor ivf rounds and then a diagnosis of balanced chromosome translocation on husband’s side, we didn’t think

Failed ICSI follow up. Any advice?
Hi everyone Back in November, we had our first fresh IVF/ICSI. Unfortunately it failed and this afternoon we have our follow up. I’ve tried not to look too much at reasons why it didn’t happen for us, as I have found it pretty overwhelming. We were referred for ivf due to my husbands sperm numbers,

ICSI : Bleeding 2 days before Testing
I’ve had ICSI and currently In the 2WW. Period due today and I am two days away from testing. Like with all periods they always start light and brown exactly what I have seen this evening. if it’s red and in full flow in the morning then it’s game over 😢 how does one sleep now?
