Hi all, my husband and I undertaking Ivf again shortly. We had an nhs cycle, 1 fresh transfer, 3 frozen. On the last frozen I became pregnant but had a miscarriage at 6 weeks.
Just wondering if anyone has had success with the embryscope and embryo glue on a fresh transfer. The evidence seems to be reassuring. We will be starting a second cycle in Feb. Will be ivf with icsi for us.
Feeling anxious and worried but optimistic too.
Will be having acupuncture throughout as I did on the last frozen transfer when I got pregnant.
Wishing you all the best. Its lovely to read success stories. Xx

Hi, sorry no advice to offer as it's all very new to me but just wanted to send you some well wishes and good luck vibes. Hope it all goes well, it sounds like you have been through a lot xxx
Hi, thankyou, appreciate your kind comments. Yes its been tough, I have endometriosis and PCOS, had 1 tube out via laparoscopy last year and just recovering from another laparoscopy now. They were going take the other tube out too this time but it was fine so left it.
Hope it all goes well for you, there will be good and bad days but always be kind to yourself. Do the things that make you happy and remember you are doing everything you can to have a baby. Xx
Hi, I think we were referred after 2 years. We started Ivf in 2013 but had issues along the way so took breaks too. I have endometriosis and PCOS. I have had cysts on my ovaries and 2 laparoscopies. Just recovering from one now. I have had 1 tube taken out too last year. This time everything seemed ok, so didnt do much (had suspected endomyosis, blocked tube and fibroid).
We had ivf in Bradford through nhs, its a satellite centre for Leeds fertility, so transfer and egg collection are done in Leeds. Will be going private with them this time.
Good luck with it all. I know its hard but be kind to yourself, you are doing everything you can. Xx
Hi there, we paid for the embryoscope on my second fresh cycle. Unfortunately we had a chemical pregnancy.
On my first fresh round we didn’t use it. I did get pregnant but had a miscarriage.
I don’t think that I’d go with it again, as it was quite abit of money and didn’t get us any further than on my first round. My clinic use embryo glue as standard, which I’d go for if they didn’t offer it.
I’m having an Endo scratch for my next FET attempt, so will see shortly if it has any impact. Wishing you lots of luck 💕 xx
Hi, thanks for the info. I had a scratch on my frozen transfer when I got pregnant but miscarried at 6 weeks. I had acupuncture that time too. The paulus protocol. Have a look into it, you might find it useful. It can help implantation and there is good evidence of it working.
We are going to try the embryscope and glue this time. Fingers crossed.
Hey there. My story is very similar to yours We had embryo glue on our last FET but didn’t work for us unfort and got pregnant without it. I don’t know. Think for some prob does help and certainly the stats they gave us sounded promising. Go with ur gut and what feel. Like anything can be worth a go and then it up to body what happens. Best wishes for next round. Sorry re miscarriage. It is heart breaking when happens x
