Testing tomorrow, reality kicking in
Hi everyone, Finally got my test tomoro - 14dp3dt. Nerves have officially kicked in. This is 2nd icsi, and will be our last, don't have money or strength to do this again. Feel like I've failed again. Been trying 6 years, lost a baby at 12 weeks 5 years ago. We plan to look at adoption, but really yearn

Heart broken and lost
Today was suppose to be our transfer day after ICSI. We got to the hospital, on to the ward, saw the embryologist - we have 3 eggs to freeze all top quality and one fresh to transfer today - into theatre and got to see our little embryo. So far all good. The doctor starts the procedure but has trouble

Vitamin B6 and Vitamin D levels insufficient
Has anyone here had improved egg quality after taking supplements? On our first and only cycle so far we got 5 eggs and had complete failed fertilisation, they stated this was due to egg quality and my age (I turned 39 the day egg transfer should have been), they also said there was nothing I could

Shared care/over 40
Dear ladies I am currently 21 weeks pregnant following ICSI conception last Autumn. I've developed complications early in the pregnancy (OHSS) but all has settled soon after and I've had a good pregnancy so far. However, it seems that because of my age (40 last September), conception by fertility treatment

Transfer tomorrow
Hi all we had out egg collection on Wednesday and got 16 eggs, 15 were mature. Embryologist told us they would us ICSI which we were already prepared for as my husband's samples have mostly been poor morphology. Had the call Thursday that 11 had fertilised and another call yesterday that all 11 are growing

One precious embryo
Hello everyone So our exciting news from the clinic is that we have one precious embryo. From the 3 eggs collected only 2 were suitable for ICSI and of these only one fertilised. Last year the embryologist told me that only a 1/3 of embryos make it to blastocyst stage. So we are transferring at d3

8dp3dt think it's all over 😢
Hiya, Well I'm 8dp3dt as said in title. Had 2 embryos transferred on the 17th Jan, they weren't the best quality unfortunately. Been having quite a bit of cramping today and shooting pain in my vagina / cervix area. It's my second 2ww. Last icsi failed in August. Can't help but feel this is all over.

Heyy me again haha Soo i had 4 eggs taken out today. Hubby gave material but they weren't very happy with the quality and he had to give another sample. I just had a phone call that the second sample wasn't better. So they are doing ICSI. His semen analysis were great i don't know why turned out that

3 eggs retrieved 🥚🥚🥚
Hi everyone So we’ve had 3 eggs collected from my 4 fully grown follicles. We are so relieved. This is a good result for us. Feeling a bit sore but otherwise fine. Looking forward to a day on the sofa with Netflix! It’s a waiting game now until embryologist phones tomorrow to let us know the quality

Egg collection booked for Fri
So we have 4 follicles at 22, 19, 19 & 17mm. Booked in for egg collection on Friday and we are first on the list! We are excited! Let’s hope there is an egg inside each. I have double checked we are down for ICSI and will double check again on Friday. I don’t want any mistakes happening this time!

Feeling Hopeless
Despite seemingly 'beautiful eggs' and being 33 years old and having now pretty much exhausted all possible tests on the sperm, it looks like it's finally time to admit defeat and get on the donor list. My husbands sperm could be improved but I feel spending more time, money and hope on it, we're just
