Anyone out there had this test? Did it reveal anything?

We’ve been told today just how awful my husbands sperm are. Loads and loads of them, but all the wrong shape, not swimming, clumped together or dead. ☹️ ROS has come back 10times over the recommended levels. Urologist is amazed we managed to have our daughter 2 years ago by ICSI, says the embryologist literally found a needle in a haystack. He said to have Comet test to work out whether the damage is happening in the production of the Semen or at ejaculation. Apparently it’s all a mystery as we’ve ruled out varicocele, infection, prostatitis, and none of the lifestyle changes/supplements have helped in the slightest.

Anyone had anything similar?

Yes we had it done. It will basically tell you what % of the sperm have dna damage and then the scale of the damage experienced by that %. If you get a higher % then they will suggest doing ICSI instead of standard IVF.
