Further Investigations?

Can anyone recommend any further investigations/tests before we embark on our last funded icsi treatment? Feels like a lot to rest on hope when we don't know what else is going on...

So we had icsi treatment last may and then a fet in December. Both ending in a bfn.

We asked for a review appointment after the failed fet in December which isn't until 11th April. Feels like we are very much in limbo until then.

We are using my husbands frozen sperm because my husband had an operation years ago that could have left him infertile and I am so glad we decided to freeze some.

But what if there is something wrong with my eggs or my husbands sperm and it isn't going to work anyway and we just don't know about it.

Has anyone had any tests?

My husband went to the doctors in desperation the other week to see if he could have the reason he isn't producing sperm when he ejaculates investigated. For example he read that retrograde ejaculation can be caused by surgery and medication could possibly help. However the doctor would not investigate further and said good luck with the ivf. She also said that she had seen patients who thought they could never conceive naturally come to her preganant with their third child. Of course we just found that incredibly patronising and upsetting since she wouldn't do any further investigations! 😣

Anyone have any advice?

Sorry for the long brain dump!!!!

Hi, sorry I know I’m replying to an old post but thought I’d post my experience (I’m new here). My husband has retrograde ejaculation, probably due to the amount of operations he has had. He has been seen (virtually) by the andrology clinic at Sheffield and he’s been advised to do pelvic floor excersises multiple times a day to get the muscles working again. She said it could take a few months of doing them but fingers crossed this works for him! (He’s only a week into doing them at the minute)
