Suppression of TSH but low T4/T3 levels whilst taking Levo/Lio Combo
A few years ago, my thyroid results were looking a lot better but NHS GP over the last 2 years has told me to reduce my dosage twice (because of the 'risks' of overtreatment). I'm now on 100mcg levothyroxine (75mcg supplied by GP and topped up by myself) and 25mcg liothyronine (self-sourced). I now don't

Autoimmune issues -- should I try Pegasys?
I read some of the posts here on a daily basis, but don't post very often -- mainly due to lack of time since I'm working full-time and trying to manage my various conditions. My bio provides the details. One day I hope to be able to participate more fully! I currently manage my PV with an anti-coagulant

Does donating 1 liter of blood increase chance of going back into Afib?
I had surgical ablation on 9/8. Stayed in sinus rhythm for 2 weeks then back to Afib. I had a cardioversion 2 weeks ago and have stayed in sinus. I need to have 1 liter of blood drawn because my iron levels are too high. Does anyone know if taking out that much blood will increase my chances of going

Pregabalin side effect – mental health
Hello everyone, To start with some positives: a big thank you for your advice and support a few months ago. It gave me the confidence to ask the GP to re-look at my ferritin blood test results and the latest RLS treatment guidelines. My iron levels are now up and the RLS considerably eased, although

Escape from Augmentation
I have continued to make progress on my path to getting my dopamine receptors back to somewhere near normal. I last used a DA patch in September. I am using buprenorphine patches and pregabalin as RLS blockers to assist in the process. There is some improvement (perhaps 60%) in my sleep regime and in

Missing video
Previously earlier this year I seen a video from a neurologist or it was on the restless leg syndrome foundation website, it was a video explaining to get this RLS disease under control before worry about other symptoms, it was kinda address to psychiatrist, to ignore the psychotic symptoms, and treat

How to taper ropinirole when taking 4x/day
My 87 year old mother (who also has Parkinson's) currently takes ropinirole 4 times a day. I have started tapering the ropinirole (with her neurologist's approval) due to augmentation and frequent, intermittent visual/auditory hallucinations and delusions. She had been on a grand total of 9 mg earlier

Update on my husband, he is down from 8 mg to 4 mg ropinerole daily and about to transition to a lower amount again. Has been lowering it down .25 mg every 2-3 weeks depending upon rls flare ups which have been minimal. He is taking iron supplements with c daily and has been doing well. He has adjusted
