Does anyone take supplements only for UC and IBS-C rather than prescription drugs?
I'm prescribed Mezavant XL and docusate
sodium
, when I remember to take them. I've also been taking slippery elm and psyllium husk more often as prefer to take this in an attempt to keep me regular. Has anyone else ditched the prescription drugs for more natural remedies and supplements?

Unable to get out of hypothyroid state no matter what!
I am now switched over to 50mcg Liothyronine
Sodium
and 150mcg Levothyroxine, and it’s day three. I still feel nothing, which is crazy to me as people say T3 is so fast acting. Looking for some insight as to why I am having trouble absorbing my T3/T4. I take it on an empty stomach, always.

Failed Chemo 101
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had enrolled in a trial using Docetaxel and Radium 223. Fifteen minutes into the first infusion of Docetaxel, I had a reaction that affected my breathing and dropped my blood pressure and pulse, but cleared after stopping the infusion and then reducing the flow rate

Probable Kidney Disease
I did a urine test last week and Urine Albumin was 1+. eGFR is 124 ,
sodium
at 100 and chloride at 90. Other values are ok. I also have NASH liver fibrosis (10.7 kpa) , although I was drinking for all these years around 90 ml liquor 3 days a week. Doctor seems unconcerned about both.

Diabetic Toothpaste ? Yes, you have read correctly , Colgate , the world leader in Toothpaste, now has launched a Toothpaste for Diabetes.
But perhaps the only useful ones are
Sodium
mono fluoro phosphate and potassium nitrate , and zinc oxide......needless to say that when you use such toothpaste , the synthetic chemical additives are absorbed through your tongue and mouth and may enter our blood stream and may cause undesirable side

Constant bouts of Itching
I have read somewhere on PMRuk that some versions of Prednisolone have fillers in it, like
sodium
benzoate, which are high in histamine. Does anybody have a definitive knowledge of which manufactured versions of Prednisolone do NOT contain
sodium
benzoate or maize starch, another common filler?

Urgent explosive diarrhoea
Hi to all sorry to post this but I was wondering if anyone else suffers with this. It’s been so debilitating all week. It’s a constant thing that comes and goes but of late it seems to be happening more often 😩. It starts not long after eating with the urgent pains and literally if I’m not a minute

Remedies for Parkinson's constipation
The stool softener known as docusate
sodium
can also work for this purpose. I have recently noticed that consumption of MCT Oil has a lubricant effect. I use it in place of butter.
