Help! Stomach Bug & Holiday!
For over a week I have had some sort of stomach bug with awful pains in the lower stomach, causing loose stools, feeling chilled then hot, with a recurring headache. I contacted my doctor asking for urgent stool tests, as I am due to go on holiday to Spain next Monday, just in case it is a stomach bug

suspected epidural tumour
Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. My dad just got his scans back, and to go along with his rising PSA (over 260 now), the said they suspect he has an epidural tumour. Our MO typically glazes past his scan results as she doesn’t seem them significant, I want to make sure I am right to be worried here

What should I expect at the end?
My dad 77 year old had been battling castration resistant prostate cancer for many years. He was in remission for awhile (unsure exactly how long as he was secretive about the whole thing) however it made a huge comeback in January of 2022 and he has been through a short stint of chemo as well as

Low Sodium
Yesterday I had my usual blood test as I’m on methotrexate, today I had a phone call from the Doctors Surgery to say they have made me a Doctors Appointment for tomorrow as they needed to see me urgently as apparently it showed I have low
sodium
levels which was fine on my last blood test in September

Post triple therapy options?
This past summer, I wrote because my husband's PSA numbers started doubling very quickly. (see quick recap below) By the time we got the PSMA PET scan a few weeks later, there were too many tumors in the bones to count. We jumped into triple therapy: Eligard, Nubeqa, and chemo. Liothyronine brands available via the NHS
I realise they are different formulas, one being Hydrochloride and the other
Sodium
. I'm wondering if I could request Morningside for my next prescription and see if that works better for me.

Creatitine blood test...
Just to give you an idea on his diet, he's 90% low
sodium
. (Eats out once a week, but this is all new and we are phasing that out as much as possible. ) He only eats meat once per day and it's chicken or fish. Usually broiled with olive oil and some sort of no
sodium
seasoning.

Laxido - diarrhoea

Advice, if possible please, on Sodium Chloride 0.9% nebuliser Liquid.
With the cold weather, I have been nebulising with
Sodium
Chloride 0.9% Nebuliser liquid 2.5ml unit doses. They are in box stating Saline Steri-Neb. Sterile until opened.I had several boxes over from last year. I feel such an idiot. It never occurred to me to check the use by date.

I have had diarrhea most of my life and have used Imodium for the most part. Have been working with GI specialist but no help so far. Taking Colestipol which at least usually keeps me from having an accident but goes not help the symptoms of needing to go. They seem to want to find right pills to help
