14 Studies from the 1950s about T3-Only for All Sorts of Chronic Issues
These studies used T3 to benefit everything from mental issues, to gastrointestinal problems, to infertility, to poor performance in school. One study even used T3 with one-year-olds. Pretty remarkable results. I've included links for each study. - Tittle (1956). Effects of 3,5,3’ l-triiodothyronine

Apologies -Loperamide Liquid Oral solution Discontinued
My post should have said Loperamide Liquid Oral Solution has been discontinued. I have tried taking half of an instant melt Imodium which wasn’t very successful so I will try to get tablets (as opposed to capsules ) and break up! Not sure why the liquid has been discontinued!

#2 Update: Adrenal Testing
This afternoon (12.45) I had the blood draw for: Adrenal auto-antibodies, Aldosterone, Renin, Potassium & Sodium. I've also had a short Synacthen test. Stop The Thyroid Madness (For better, for worse) insist that salt is restricted the day before Aldosterone testing and that the arm is held at a perpendicular

IBS D
Hi, I’ve suffered with mixed ibs for 7 years but having a really bad flare up last few months of ibs D. So I’ve been taking Imodium for 2 days a week while I’m at work, which has helped to slow it down. But about 5 days after I’ve had the Imodium I have explosive diarrhoea! Is that because the Imodium

Zometa with or without Radium 223?
Hi I have done 1 year with Zometa alongside Docetaxel and more recently Radium 223. I'm halfway through the Radium 223 course but have been advised that after a year, Zometa has reached maximum effectiveness and should be stopped. After a rocky start I'm feeling much better and much less frail.

Coming off Naproxen safely?
Hi After 3 doses of Radium 223, my pain and general core strength seems to be improving after a rocky start. I'm also taking low dose Dexamethasone. I'd like to come off Naproxen gently and just take Paracetamol. I'm taking 2 x500 mg a day after meals. I'd be grateful for any experience or advice

#1: The Start
Following the example of Clarebear I've decided to document my thyroid-adrenal journey on here in hopes it'll keep me accountable, and also may serve some after me. After a long, complicated history of no diagnosis, followed by lithium treatment, then prolonged time spent on T4 with no improvement,

potassium level
I recently had bloodwork done. My sodium is at very bottom of range.( 135) it always has been. My potassium is 3.7 with a range of 3.5-5.5. I have tended to be around 4 or a tad higher. A year ago I was 3.8. I have been injecting every 3 weeks for a year and a half. Do I need more potassium? I know it

Can Anyone Help?
I’m currently abroad and have ‘spanish tummy’. Anyone know of any reason I can’t take Imodium or Dioralyte with Flecainide/Bisoprolol or Apixaban?

Salt - serum sodium
I have just had my two monthly blood test. Whilst my ESR and CRP are within the normal range my serum sodium is 130mmol/L. (133 - 146.00mmol/L). It has been like this for the past year or so and everyone has ignored it 'til now. I am not one for pills unless I really need them like prednisolone. Can

Need help to fight fatigue from Radium 223
Stage 4 for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months until it stopped being effective. Currently part of trial with Radium 223. Had 4 cycles already and 2 more to go. After this will likely have to switch to Enzalutamide and ADT. Now having bad fatigue issues; on scale

Sodium
Hello all, just wondering if anyone would know if a slightly low Sodium Level in your Blood can contribute to triggering an AF attack, thank you. John

Anyone experience ectopics(Extra beats) with pain when anxious, stressed or intake stimulants? or is it just me?
I noticed that when I'm stressed or anxious, or have had sodium or coffee(even decaf) as too much of that even since it contains some caffeine..I get ecopics but mine are NOT skipped beats but extra beats and they are sometimes less noticeable, then some are more noticable and then some are painful..

Persistent bowel infection
Dear all, A while since I have written. I was struggling for a year or two with colon pain and seemingly uncontrollable IBS-D. I had a colonic MRI scan done which found I had diverticulosis (side-pockets on the colon). I did not have all the symptoms of diverticulitis (inflammation of the pockets

Advise please, long flight travel with IBS
For the first time in my life I am now able to do as I please more or less (aside from a decrepit body), So, I've decided to bite the bullet and hopefully travel to Japan, a country I have long wanted to visit but flight time scares me as I hate being cooped up for hours. I don't want to spend 17 hours
