I noticed that when I'm stressed or anxious, or have had sodium or coffee(even decaf) as too much of that even since it contains some caffeine..I get ecopics but mine are NOT skipped beats but extra beats and they are sometimes less noticeable, then some are more noticable and then some are painful... and I notice the number/frequency is related to the amount of stress my body is in and how much lack of sleep I experience..I have no other symptoms. I never get them while working out ot active, which is a good sign. Only when I'm sitting, standing and in a tense mood and also underslept. I guess I'm not the only person on the planet with this reaction to stress or caffeine or am I?

Anyone experience ectopics(Extra beats) with pain when anxious, stressed or intake stimulants? or is it just me?
Welcome to the Forum, it is true the heart does react to stress and stimulants such as alcohol, caffeine and nicotine.
The normal heart rhythm ranges between 60-100bpm, but this can fluctuate just outside of these parameters on an individual basis. It is well known that stimulants increase the heart rhythm, so minimising the intake of stimulants can help.
However, the symptoms you have described should not be ignored and an irregular pulse can often be the early warning signs of an arrhythmia.
Please visit our 'Know Your Pulse' Campaign for further details on how to check your pulse and find out if it is too fast, too slow or erratic: heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/...
I would then advise visiting the Arrhythmia Alliance website to download our Arrhythmia Checklist: api.heartrhythmalliance.org... before contacting your GP for further medical advice.

Here’s an idea you might like to try…
Anxiety/Stress make you produce cortisol… especially first thing in the morning… it is often associated with increased beats…. the more conscious you become the more they seem to occur… body listening is not helpful…
If you notice these disappear when walking or exercising then your heart is not really the issue however you should get the once over with your doctor to rule out underlying causes before seeking the suggestion below.
Anxiety also reduces magnesium levels.. which explain why people cannot relax as easily.. the heart requires magnesium as part of the relaxation of heart muscle… so upping your intake will often “settle” down erratic hearts… especially magnesium taurate.. for men about 450 mg a day… 600 mg is fine for this issue… you should find relief very quickly.. please let us know if this helps.
