Random toothpaste question
I hope everyone is, well. My friend recommended oral b 3 d white toothpaste but not sure if safe in pregnancy, does anyone know? I think I read somewhere that if it contains sodium hydoxide it's no good. Thanks

Is AF linked to weight gain?
I was diagnosed with PAF in 1998, at the time I was 36 and had had open heart surgery for a repair to a hole in the heart. I had an ablation in 2006 and for about 9 months I still suffered with episodes of AF and then as suddenly as they started they just stopped, until I had flutters for a couple of

So I’m taking the magnesium citrate at one in morning and one in the night which is working ok and I’ll up it to 3 once I’m on it a week or so . Meaning I’m on magnesium plus my 80mg of propranolol at night slow release which I take after tea. Yesterday the sun was shining I’d just finished in the shed

ALD with normal labs.
Hey y'all. I'm from the states so some terminology may be different. My story: I've been drinking moderately to heavily for 15 years, with a few years off while pregnant. I quit 49 days ago. Since stopping I have experienced a range of concerning symptoms. Feeling unsteady, as if the ground is rocking

Docetaxal is considered ineffective due to a rising PSA. 4 sessions completed a increase of 2.7 to 9.3 now leap frogging to a phase 1 trial
I am not sure how things accelerated to a phase one harpoon clinical trial. According to my oncologist, and my new prostate doc they believe based on the trouble some PSA increase it may be time to explore other options. I suggested 3 potential ideas that I had thought were possible options parp inhibitor

Hi everyone, apparently I have low sodium levels and my GP wants me to limit my fluid intake to under 2litrs a day, preferably 1.5 . I have issues with this. What does anyone else think/ know? I would be grateful for help ☺

Magnesium citrate
Just an update .😕 Sorry if this sounds daft but I’ve recently purchased Magnesium citrate after hearing all the good things about this and I’ve got a tub of 100mg tablets it’s saying take 300mg daily preferably with food ... I’m assuming this is 100mg 3 times a day or at once 😕🙈 Any help greatfully

Planning a pregnancy with bipolar disorder
Hi all, My partner and I have decided to start trying for a baby towards the end of this year (as I need to come off of sodium valproate before trying). I've had a diagnosis of bipolar 1 since I was seventeen, and am now twenty-five. I've had some very general discussions with my psychiatrist about pregnancy

Watery bathroom trips
Hi all x I have IBS-D which I manage through a gluten free diet and try to avoid certain fodmaps - this has got rid of the cramping etc. However if I don’t take an Imodium weekly, I’ll have watery frequent bowel movements - Even after taking my Imodium I am still able to have a BM each day so that’s

Breakfast recommendations
My mom seems to be recovering well since she had placed her catheter in. She’s walking around more and less pain. I feel a lot lighter emotionally since, I’ve joined this community and I have you all to thank! I’m curious to see what are some good options for breakfast? For someone that is also diabetic

I have never been diagnosed with ibs but I definitely think I have it. I really would like to do a food intolerance test to see if it can give me answers as a client of mine did it and worked wonders for her as her skin flared up as does mine. I mostly suffer from d but now when I take imodium usually

What to eat?
I must admit, the pandemic has gotten me into a bit of stress eating. I'm not proud of what I have been eating and am afraid to tell my clinic. Hard to figure out what to eat with all the sodium, phosphorus, potassium restrictions. Found this twitter feed useful. http://twitter.com/stock_my_pantry
