What to eat?

I must admit, the pandemic has gotten me into a bit of stress eating. I'm not proud of what I have been eating and am afraid to tell my clinic.

Hard to figure out what to eat with all the sodium, phosphorus, potassium restrictions. Found this twitter feed useful.

Yes, this was a problem for me, too for a couple of weeks. When my gains started being a lot more than they used to be and I started experiencing cramps because they had to remove more fluid, that became an incentive to eating according to the dialysis diet! Try not listening to the news so much, getting outdoors for a walk, doing puzzles or something else that occupies your hands and your mind. Try out Zoom for everything from talking with friends and family to online support groups and exercise programs. Listening to music is a also a great soother. Trust me, this is a common problem and confiding in your dialysis staff is an excellent source of support. Don't be afraid to talk to them - I do!
