Orgovyx after 12 months
Just reaching the 12 month mark on Orgovyx. Lately, it is beginning to kick my ass. Just feel weak, depressed and unmotivated to exercise. Getting tired of hot flashes. I have put on about 15 lbs. since beginning ADT prior to radiation therapy. I was diagnosed GG3 (4+3=7), T2bN0M0. Lesion on one half

To radiate or not to radiate?
My metastatic prostate diagnosis was established three years ago by biopsy (Gleason 9) and PMSA that showed "innumerable osseous lesions" throughout my skeleton. I was started on ADT and initially responded well. However, my PSA has now risen to 0.7. So my oncologist ordered a repeat PET/PMSA that

Theoretical and in-vitro study of Sparganii and Curcumin together for castration resistant prostate cancer
I’ve not heard of Sparganii (sparganium) before but it’s not new to TCM. This herb combination is apparently a classic TCM treatment for CRPC. Wu, L., Chen, H., Long, Y. et al. Exploring the mechanism of action of Sparganii Rhizoma-Curcumae Rhizoma for in treating castration-resistant prostate cancer

Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate
My foley catheter has become extremly painful lever since I did a round of IMRT back in March. My urologist is reluctant to intervene but the catheter has become so painful that he is considering a TURP so that I can possibly rid myself of the foley. After doing a bit of reasearch I read an article

ADT vacation for 10 months
I have been on ADT vacation for 10 months now.(stage 4 with starting PSA 2250 in 2019). 2019 started on ADT and PSA has been undetectable 4 months after I started and is still. Testosterone less than 40(undetectable) and still is. My new MO wants to restart ADT (Depo Lupron and Zytiga) if my testosterone

Xofigo question
Hello everyone,Does anyone have experience with ending Xofigo infusions early and possible consequences? I have completed three infusions with fourth scheduled next week blood test (today) permitting. Since beginning Xofigo I am experiencing increased pain, at times significant. Zero pain prior to Xofigo

DCIS, Lumpectomy and Rheumatoid Arthritis
I had a lumpectomy just under three months ago following a diagnosis of DCIS after a routine mammogram. It was barely detectable so although I don't feel particularly lucky, I know I was lucky to have it discovered early. The surgery was successful in removing the cancer with a clear margin. Because

First dose Lutetium and adding enzalutamide
Hi all My Dad was unfortunately unable to join the DB-1311 trial because he developed extreme pneumonitis from Keytruda that landed him in the ICU for 2 weeks about 2 years ago, so he is no longer able to use any immunotherapy treatments moving forward. We have exhausted most options now but have lutetium
