B12 and electrolyte imbalance
Hi folks I have been struggling with low sodium due to laxative use, (I have severe IBS). In the process of trying to correct the sodium I changed meds to Linzess and took sodium. I think that caused an electrolyte imbalance. Now I am feeling really bad with weak legs, bad vision problems, shortness

Sodium benzoate in soft drinks?
Hi everyone. I hope you are doing ok in this difficult time. I wanted to know if anyone has ever had a reaction to sodium benzoate (also known as E211), which is a preservative found in a lot of processed foods. Sometimes I feel that my throat/chest is a bit irritated when I drink Diet Coke but then

Weight loss & tachycardia
Weight loss & tachycardia Can weight loss make your heart beat sound louder? Is weight loss associated with increased tachycardia? I’ve had paroxysmal AF for 8 years. 1 cryablation, 1 RF ablation which has reduced my AF. I go in to AF about once every six weeks, usually in my sleep and CV with pip

Information about spinal cord compression.
Has anyone experienced a spinal cord compression or fracture? Can you share your experiences. Has anyone experienced what it means to prevent one. We know that getting an MRI to show the urgency of treatment is one thing and then the mention of surgery. We don't know what that means. Who handles this

Overlooked for vaccine, apparently not vulnerable !
My husband has eosinophilic asthma, takes fostair 200/6, montelukast, flixonaise and more. He has just finished a course of prednisone. He went to Dr last week and asked about vaccine and was told that because he hasn't had a hospital admission in the past 3 months he wasn't classed as severe so

Desperate for answers after negative Hirschsprungs Disease result today for my 4 year old boy.
I wondered if anyone could offer me any advice please. My 4 yr old had a rectal biopsy done at bham children's on 5th Jan. It's come back negative for HD today. We are now being referred back to his ongoing paediatrician at Warwick hospital - we have an appt on 27th Jan. Joshua has been impacted most

Tips for dealing with Drs who don't get peak flow is personal...
I've finally got my (re-)referral appointment tomorrow but unfortunately with the same doctor who told me I needed to reduce my meds as my peak flow was too high 🤦🏻‍♀️, this was despite needing ventolin a few times a week and having quite large daily and day to day variability in my peak flow. She
