Tinnitus and Flecainide
I've been taking Flecanide (100mg 2x per day) and Metropolol for AFiB following two failed ablation for almost 3 years. My AFIB is well controlled and I've had no events during that time. I'm 65, healthy and very fit. Unfortunately, I've developed a severe case of Tinnitus that started in April 2020

Help and advice please.
My daughter was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis last year. We have only recently realised how serious this could be as we were given no advice or information at all. She has had a couple of really bad flare ups due to taking headache medication which we have since discovered were the cause of the flare

Atypical asthma ling function results
I posted before about my atypical asthma, as there are quite a few people with similar symptoms that have also been dismissed I thought I would share my results. Additionally if anyone has any insight, would be interested to hear. I pad to have a lung function test at a hospital to get some answers and

Holy cramp
Tonight I felt good running, but on the cool down walk I started hobbling a bit... and when I got in I could barely sit still because my quads, hamstrings and calves were cramping so badly. I had to lie down, but again struggled to keep still because the cramp was so severe... I drank some water, and

Nalcrom available to be imported
Good news on the Nalcrom front!! I have just heard from the DHSC that at least three importers have been able to source sodium cromoglycate from outside the UK. These medicines can be imported unlicensed. The three companies who have said they have it are: Alium Medical Mawdsleys Unlicensed Target Healthcare

6 Months+ of Asthma Issues
Hi all, This is something of a ramble, but I feel like I'm at the end of my tether. At the end of May I had several severe asthma attacks and I still don't feel right over half a year later. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, I was given prednisone to help get the inflammation down and since

Colonoscopy
Another question Can I take mebeverine and buscopan before a colonoscopy? It says on letter to stop taking Imodium, codeine phosphate & lomotil 5 days before but doesn’t mention mebeverine and buscopan!

Is Diet and Exercise helpful?
Diagnosed with CKD for a couple of years now and one of the main factors I see often in managing or slowing the eGFR count is Diet & Exercise (losing weight), a diet with less or no sodium and no red meat seems to be the one subject I often stumble upon. Is that a good summarization? Would fasting also

After reading this asthma forum I thought I would be safe. My wife and daughter contracted Covid, I believe my daughter picked it up at college. They tested positive and i negative, a week later I had a headaches and a fever got tested the next day and was positive. I have infection induced asthma

How much does mucus affect peak flow?
I was getting 350, then a bit later I cleared some mucus, I then got 400. It seems like mucus is making my readings worse. Seems like it could mess with tracking it. Do you disregard reading like that? This happens to me a lot. Thanks

Lung Stiffness
My peak flow hasn't changed, and I dont have any chest tightness or any other asthma-y symptoms, but I've noticed over the last few days whenever I'm taking my inhalers my lungs feel stiff and sore on the inhale. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Its more of a discomfort than anything

Very confused !
I have recently restarted the lchf diet and have been doing a lot of research during the course of which I came across a site called Healthline . In the article I was reading they were discussing why some people don’t lose weight using low - carb diets . Two of the reasons were ‘ eating too many calories
