LC Cooking and baking
The last few weeks I have been venturing into the world of keto baking, inspired by several other HU users. This is my successful courgette bread. I made some very nice sandwiches with it last weekend. It has 1g carb per slice and it was a very simple recipe. Next to it is my unsuccessful "cloud" bread

The right doc. makes a world of difference!
I found out that I had CKD stage 3A a little over 2 months ago. I wrote on here and so many of you were really helpful and gave me great advice. Since then, I've been reading, reading, and reading some more. I have myself on a very kidney-friendly diet. Although it still keeps biting in the butt. One

I have been wandering around the internet most of the week after receiving the suggestion I may have auto immune hepatitis. I am a little bit lost because I come from having another illness (pancreatitis) and was wondering if you have many people on this site who have found you in a similar way? You

My recent blood tests show that I have low sodium. Any one know the best way to improve it ? I have been using more salt, dont know if this is a good idea. This has happened before . The doctor took me off Fluoxatine and gave me another antidepressant. This made me really feel really down. I'm

Still in the unknown
I was changed into Ivrabradine 1 tablet 2x a day and

sodium
tablets two tablets 2x a day. I started to get all my energy back after not being on Bisoprolo but found during the first week I had so much noticeable palpitations but seemingly in rythm as far as I could tell.

Nalcrom and Intal update
When I spoke with Sanofi recently they confirmed that we should expect Nalcrom to begin being available at wholesalers in the week commencing May 24, 2021. Intal, the inhaled version of sodium cromoglycate, should be available this week (May 10, 2021). Glad to report this progress.

Treatment for high TSH with high T4
My TSH is too high, but my t4 is also above the normal range. My ft3 is below the normal range. Has anyone in this situation been treated with low dose naltrexone?

Urgent explosive diarrhoea
Hi to all sorry to post this but I was wondering if anyone else suffers with this. It’s been so debilitating all week. It’s a constant thing that comes and goes but of late it seems to be happening more often 😩. It starts not long after eating with the urgent pains and literally if I’m not a minute

Long-term asthma recovery queries
Hi all, I suppose this is a general question about long-term asthma recovery, as this is uncharted territory for me. Or if it's even asthma-related. In May 2020, I had several asthma attacks, which heavily restricted my mobility for the remainder of the year. I used to go to the gym twice a week, play

Lercanidipine and losing weight
Hi I’ve been on this medication for a few months now and so far so good. However, 4 weeks ago I started a weight loss regime & ive genuinely been strict- hardly any alcohol, low carb and cut portion size in half. I’ve even been sure to continue at the weekend. Initially I lost 2 pounds but for the last

My husband has a new dialysis manager that’s very young and hasn’t been a manager for long. She has the center in an uproar by moving people around daily each treatment and changing the doctor’s prescription of medications on the machine.
