Re learning to use CPAP
I was using a full face CPAP, took me a while to get used to it, several months when I was diagnosed with poly myalgia rheumatica PMR, which affected my shoulders and for about 6 weeks I couldn't use my mask. Now that's under control I am having problems re learning how to use my mask and I just can't

Period Cramps @ School
Iām having some bad cramps right now. I unfortunately didnāt take my Aleve, so now Iām in a lot of pain and under lots of stress. I feel warm, nauseous, and Iām totally out of it. I heard every 4 words my teacher said to me because I kept zoning out. I have no way of getting medicine to me either

Anyone used Vitex (Agnus castus/chasteberry) and did it help or aggravate RLS?
Having heavy n prolonged periods so was researching solutions. Came across Vitex (to balance out hormones) but no idea if it's safe for RLS because when I googled Vitex RLS I read something about it affecting dopamine receptors? Has anyone used this for their periods or any other issue, or can advise

'Checkup's'
Hi all I've not been here for a while, so apologies to one and all. I have been receiving PIP since October 2019. Yesterday (saturday) I received a 'brown envelope' asking to fill in my medical history, accumulate 'evidence' and send everything back to DWP or whoever they are by 29th December. I really

Black Cohosh Research
In a post discussing hot flushes, a couple of members said they used black cohosh. When I started researching it, I was surprised to find research abstracts showing that it killed prostate cancer cells in vitro and in mouse models. Iād never heard of using it for hot flushes or a possible adjunct treatment

Nightmares
Morning ladies - For the last few nights Iāve had the most awful vivid nightmares, well actually night terrors and waking up screaming. Really distressing. Iāve been taking Letrozole and Niraparib since April but this is not listed as a side effect. Trouble falling asleep and staying asleep is listed

11 years ago I had a mastectomy on my right breast, and followed up with 7 weeks of radiation. All was well...then in May I was short of breath and my primary Doctor said it was COPD? Well I questioned that and demanded a lung xray. That is when involvement in a lymph node was found, and then after

Mastectomy wound
Hi ladies I had a left mastectomy in Jan 17, have had various treatments and have been on Cape for about 1 1/2 years but unfortunately it has stopped working and I am about to start Kadcyla IV. Recently a small wound has opened along line of my mastectomy scar, they have taken a biopsy as they think

Still no direct answers
I had a fifth PET/CT scan this past May to check on any possible recurring breast cancer. All that the oncologist called and said was I had a right kidney stone that could possibly be blocking my kidney. (Turns out it was in my ureter and mustāve passed itself). I asked what else and he said that was

Mirapex pramipexole withdrawal taper
This is the 12th day after my second reduction in Mirapex. My first production was from 0.5 mg to 0.375 mg. I only had three bad days out of three weeks. But my second reduction went from 0.3752 mg to 0.25 mg and I am having serious difficulties - very serious difficulties. Do these usually go away after

Considering Rapamycin
Rapamycin (aka Sirolimus) is a very interesting drug of diverse effects. It is being explored in early trials for PC because of positive effects demonstrated in cell cultures of PC cell lines and in animal model (mice). A phase I dosing study in human PC patients demonstrated a safe profile in moderate
