Progynova & Cyclogest in FET

Hello,

I’m driving myself mad again so hoping someone can help! My clinic have said to stop progynova and cyclogest at 9 weeks. I can’t get my head around how I am going from 12mg progynova one day and then none the next day! They have agreed I can stay on cyclogest until 12 weeks but my anxiety is through the roof with just stopping the progynova so suddenly! Any success stories to put my mind at rest would be great! Thank you 😊

Hi lovely, I stopped Progynova at 12 weeks but it was completely cold turkey.

One day 12mg, the next none. It was totally fine 😘

I tapered off the cyclogest from 11 - 14 weeks and also fine.

Try not to worry - they wouldn't allow you to stop meds like that if they thought it would be an issue at all xx

Yea I’m trying to remember that they wouldn’t do it if they didn’t think it was safe but gosh it’s hard! It’s worse because I don’t understand what progynova is doing? There’s so much to know!! Thank you for your reply xx

Progynova is oestrogen so helps to build up the lining… but your body will be producing it naturally now. Xx
