Morning ladies - For the last few nights I’ve had the most awful vivid nightmares, well actually night terrors and waking up screaming. Really distressing.
I’ve been taking Letrozole and Niraparib since April but this is not listed as a side effect. Trouble falling asleep and staying asleep is listed and I know many of us suffer from this.
Anybody else experienced these night terrors?

So sorry you are having these night terrors. No fun at all. Do speak to your GP and onc. It could be the drugs or it could be stress. Either way you need help to relax and gain confidence that they will evaporate, as I am sure they will. Or try Ovacome helpline or Macmillan. Peaceful sleepwill come again.
Hi I am on Niraparib and I get these too! I find they are worse, to the extent that I don’t want to go to bed, when I’m stressed. I lost my Dad last August and they appeared again, then this October lost my mum and they are back 😢 I can wake up sobbing but I think they are on the wane again now. My onc did say that they are not unusual!Hope yours start to ease soon x
Thank you - they are really frightening and like you I am scared to go to sleep in case I have another one. I am under a lot of stress at the moment as well as the cancer stress. I will mention at the hospital. Hope yours are on the way out. Take care xx
