Cystoscopy post salvage radiation
It's been 2 years since I completed salvage IMRT to surgical bed and pelvic lymph nodes. My MO recommended I have cystoscopy after reporting 3 very small clots during 1 week in urine (about size of crumbled picecs of corn flake). I decided to have one as curious to see what looked like post salvage

Hysterectomy at 45?!?!
hi all, I am just about to turn 45 years old and I have had endo since I was 20. 5 laparoscopies over the years, hormone treatment, several pills and I’ve just had my coil removed as I still had periods etc every month. I am at my wits end now, but I’m wondering if a hysterectomy at 45 is a good idea

Mind/Emotion/Body connection
Hi, folks. And that we are not powerless or have no control over our diagnosis other

bone met
Had a PSMA scan that showed 2 Mets, one to lymph node, the other to a rib. Well there is no cure for me now. The met were radiated about a month ago but my side where rib is still sore. I assume the cancer is growing. They decided to not use ADT. I know that I am at the end. So getting my affairs in

Request for MRI Linac
My husband at MSK is getting his external radiation for the entire prostate with extra radiation to the pelvic nodule in October. I have requested for MRI Linac and our RO who heads the department wasn't sure if he would use it as he said he will use the GRT. I requested again at his last appointment

FWIW: An alternative cancer treatment protocol targeted mostly at stage 4 brain cancer patients who've run out of options, no idea if helpful to anyone here but thought I would post.
Prostate Cancer mentioned at 1:11. Website has 2 patients testimony only. Costs not covered by medicare, video

Pelvic Lymph Node Study
"Review suggests many men with early prostate cancer may not need lymph node removal." "Doing so may help them avoid harmful side effects, such as disabling lymphedema. But even more importantly, leaving the pelvic nodes intact might also boost the success of newer immune-based cancer drugs, the experts

Good news on recurrence
Hi Ladies I’ve had good news from my July scan report. All new growth from recurrence is NED, good partial remission 😊 I had 6 cycles of Caelyx/Carbo after recurrence when 7 months of PARP Olaparib should have but hadn’t work, instead had new growth. I also started Avastin privately with Lloyds

Hi all, I'm pretty new to this. Had a thoracotomy in July to remove a 1.6cm(ish) tumour from my upper left lobe. Upon investigation my surgeon found unexpected lesions on the lower left lobe (that did not show up on the PET scan) and it seems that there are 'snowflakes' in my right lung too. Anyhow

Liver nodules
Hello. Just wanting to see if anyone's had similar. My brother has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer... they say its a genetic mutation from a certain gene which causes paraganglioma... my mum died from paraganglioma cancer when I was small. So I had a ct scan recently to check myself

Secondary cancer
Hello all, Due to some vomiting I was experiencing, seemingly out of nowhere, I had an upper endoscopy last week. Still no word from anyone on the results, but I read them on the portal. Apparently, I now have signet ring carcinoma in my stomach. From what I have read, this is completely unrelated

Do I need an MRI with Contrast or without?
Soon will get a Prostate MRI done and I am worried about possible side effects of the gadolinium based contrast agent (dye). Can I decline the dye and ask for a MRI without contrast? I don't have any prior cancer diagnosis, but my PSA is 10.9 and 12.15 (two readings, 5 days apart, different labs)
