Hot Weather and CABG
I'm 7 weeks out from CABG x3 and the heat is oddly really impacting my activity level. I'm finding that I absolutely must do any working out in the morning because once the temperature hits 80F, I become much more tired quickly and start really struggle. Even walking outside in the afternoons (mid-

I had a CABG x 2 in August. After my 8 week checkup I was discharged by the cardiologist, (he is based 60 miles away).Should I now be under the care of the cardiology department at my local hospital or just my GP? Thanks

What type of skin cancer is it?
We have just been told my daughter has skin cancer in 3 areas, on her shoulder, chest and back, it is non melanoma we think, how do they decide if it is basal cell or squamous cell. She hasn’t seen a consultant yet but early stage skin doctor says the one on her shoulder requires biopsy and radiation

Partner emotions
Seems a long time ago but in reality my heart problem only became known to me when it was diagnosed first week in April. 2 months ago. I guess I’ve been pretty self absorbed, if that’s the right way of putting it, since then. Feelings of isolation waiting for CABG; frustration at “frail old man” feelings

Tiredness
Since I've been hit by a coronary problem just over 2 months ago I've progressively felt more tired as each day passes. Is this usual? Can I expect this to improve after the scheduled CABG surgery?

I couldn’t understand why this was happening to me , I worked out regularly, travelled just in the last month, had no pains while I walked miles then all of a sudden one day I just felt this heart burn like pain it wasn’t the worst pain nonetheless it was pain, after taking some deep breaths and doing

A ramble about a run, consequences of, subsequent rest and another run!
Last Monday I did my first 10k, pb times etc. And of course I was super happy. 2 days later I had some aches that niggled and I felt I’d best not ignore them. I’d torn a calf muscle at Christmas and although not troublesome since, I was now definitely aware of its existence again as it felt really tight

Back home now
Came home this afternoon 6 days post CABG having had three grafts. Pain killers doing their stuff. I'm trying to do mine, all the physio and excercises. Taking things easy and letting it build up. So many people to thank, including those on here that offered help and advice

Dent in Skin Graft on Nose
Hi, Can anyone suggest any camouflage ideas as I had MOHS/Plastic surgery on my poor nose for skin cancer and now can see a huge dent! I know that I have to wait a year to see if the plastic surgeon can amend/add fillers, but, in the meantime would love to hide it as best I can (it's in the worse place

Can someone help figure out what the heck is going on with just my right foot?
Only for the past 3 or so years, my right foot subddenly is constantly peeling, cracking, and what looks similar to athletes foot with thick and rough skin.. but no athletes foot medication has ever improved the situation. My left foot (upper left corner photo) has had absolutely none of these symptoms

LCHF 4 yrs
LCHF. Well that was pre April 2019. CABGx4. What now ? What does the research say about LCHF and risk of further occlusion or Afib or heart attack after and attack and CABG ? At least one definitive source from the Keto/LCHF world says my questions outpace the science. If you know anything do please

Pre-op tests validity
I'm on a waiting list for Mitral Valve repair/replacement and also a Triple Heart Bypass ( CABG ). I had all of my pre-op tests done on 2nd April. I was told waiting time would be 6/8 weeks. As the 8 weeks has now passed does anyone know how long the pre-op tests are valid for? Thanks in advance for
