I had a severe bout of cellulitis in my leg 2years ago,and it has been left like this.

Hi. I am the same and when it goes cold weather it can look purple. I think we are all the same. I'm lead to think it's the scaring from the cellulitis But as you can see your skin was badly stretched and that's what happens when we have lymphedema and yours looks under control I wish mine was.. but if anybody else knows anything I would also like to know myself I hope you get some response because they are a good lot on here. Sharon x

Does anyone have a contact in France? I have found their doctors are best at dealing with skin conditions, but aren't going there in near future to be able to ask. But am sure someone there has definitive, clinically-trialled answer.

yes, I had cellulitis and my leg looks worse than that
