Inducible ischaemia outlook
My letter back from the specialist after MRI (I have had h/a and cabg in last year) shows ‘inducible ischaemia in basal mid inferior and inferolateral walls : 3 segments ‘ I have read that this type of ischaemia has poor outcomes. Can anyone throw some light/offer hope. Thanks

Has anyone else had the measles? When I was about 8 I had the measles as I wasn't vaccinated. How measles causes the body to ‘forget’ past infections by other microbes.
One of the most contagious human pathogens, the measles virus is dangerous enough by itself, with sometimes-fatal complications including pneumonia and brain inflammation. Two detailed studies of blood from unvaccinated Dutch children who contracted measles now reveal how such infections can also compromise

Back, neck, shoulder problems
Newbie here. CABG x 3 in March 19. On usual meds. Been recovering well and back exercising, jogging etc. Lots of walking, no breathlessness. Every couple of months I get occasional neck and shoulder, upper back stiffness and burning sensation rather than sharp pain. What would be causing this? Is

W9R2 First run since Cellulitis
I posted a month ago about feeling bad after W9R1 only to find out I had cellulitis. In the end I had 3 bags of IV antibiotics that day followed by 5 days of 1 bag a day, top off with 7 days of 2 different tablet antibiotics. Needless to say my leg swelled up like an elephant's and it taken until yesterday

Anxiety over life expectancy after Heart Bypass - how to cope?
Prior to my double heart bypass last year, I was told by the surgeon there was a 20% mortality rate after a bypass within 5 years. My operation was successful but this figure is preying on my thoughts... I’ve read about a long tracking study from Holland (I believe over 30 years) with a sizeable number

Anxiety 1 year after CABG
Hi I had a double CABG July 2018 when I was 50. Initially everything seemed fine afterwards and I had very little pain or discomfort. Since about February this year I have had more discomfort from my chest and left shoulder. Sometimes I can tell it is muscular but sometimes I have anxiety that it could
