W9R2 First run since Cellulitis

I posted a month ago about feeling bad after W9R1 only to find out I had cellulitis. In the end I had 3 bags of IV antibiotics that day followed by 5 days of 1 bag a day, top off with 7 days of 2 different tablet antibiotics. Needless to say my leg swelled up like an elephant's and it taken until yesterday to feel well enough to try running again. I wasn't sure what to expect after another month between runs but I managed it and now 1 run left before graduation.

So glad you are back on your feet again, that sounds like an ordeal, take it very steady as you body will be fully healing for quite a few months after all that, if you feel tired take extra rest days, that will help with the healing and help to keep you going. Take care of yourself. Rfc x

Whew. What a scary ordeal. So glad you’re back to running, but do take it gently. 👍
