Hi everyone, Would massively appreciate some advice as my GP & Endocrinologist are not giving me answers to why my Thyroid has been underactive. All they have done is say I should take Levothyroxine 25mg. Before I do I want to try create a holistic treatment plan alongside the medication & to do that

Newbie, hi
I'm 60. I was diagnosed 1 month ago with RLS. I've had symptoms since I was about 13 years old. I'm taking Pregabalin and have just moved onto my clinical dose. I'm not enjoying the side effects but hope they will pass. My life has been one of dealing with excessive daytime sleepiness, mental health

Weaning off Prednisolone after miscarriage
Hi Ladies, Sorry for another question, but I have been on 20mg of Steroids for 6/7 weeks since my transfer. Sadly my pregnancy ended in a mmc and I have been advised to wean myself off the steroids. The clinic haven't been too clear about what that means. I was taking 4 5mg tablets per day, and just

anxiety: how do you handle it
I’ve been having panic attacks about once a week and it triggers me to make impulsive decisions like starting arguments. I’ve tried breathing exercises which helps sometimes. What do you all recommend that helps? 🙂

Should I stop any supplements after transfer?
Hi all, Am finally getting to go through my first frozen transfer after 3 cancelled cycles (one fresh two frozen). I'm currently taking a few supplements (have been for at least 9 -12 months) but is there any that I should stop taking the day of or after transfer? I assume most are fine but just wanted

Asking a question on behalf of my Mum with regards to a hysterectomy. Ladies who have had it what did you keep?
My mum is 51 has always suffered with extremely heavy periods and as she has gotten older this has gotten significantly worse. After being put on iron tablets and tranexamic acid by the GP with not much relief she was referred to a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist examined her and said her uterus

imuran
I have been on Imuran 50mg for over 3 years and will be on it another 2 for autoimmune hepatitis. I also have PBC and take ursodiol for that. Imuran has lowered my liver levels and has kept them stable for me. It suppresses your immune system but it’s manageable. My dr is hoping that after being on it

Excellent sleep aid
Hi gang. You all know the trouble I’ve had sleeping recently. Well last night I added two new elements to my routine: CBD oil and this product from a Canadian? firm called Comfort Linen . The sheets etc are designed to work together and I must say I was very impressed with the freeing up of my movements

How to get over weight gain?
Hi all. I’ve never had a positive body image and I’ve been struggling with an eating disorder since 2018. For personal reasons and decided to start recovery in April 2022 and stop all the food restrictions. The first few months I ate enormous amounts of food and, obviously, it resulted in a weight

Buy BEFORE FDA BANS this! ... Vinpocetine
Tip of my hat to Bolt_upright who mentioned that he takes Vinpocetine in one of his posts. It's considered a 'drug' in Europe and surprisingly (for now) has gotten past our "Fear and Death Administration" also known as the infamous, FDA. I've added this to my stack of about 40 supplements. It's only

Advice on Results Please
Hello, I've been trying to find my sweet spot since starting HRT and discovering I was undermedicated. I've just had my latest test results back although I keep having issues with the blood samples for Medichecks so some tests have been redone and other are missing. Anyone else have issues with this

Anyone else dealing with OCD?
I apologize if this may not be the right place to mention OCD, but I didn’t see a group for OCD. I struggle really hard with OCD, and for those that can relate, it’s not fun. You feel like you are constantly battling something invisible that if you don’t do things a certain way, is going to appear

lorazepam effect in elderly
my father (89) has just been prescribed Lorazepam- he has dementia and has nightmares at night and poor sleep. The lorazepam seems to help him sleep but he’s in a terrible state during the day, very disoriented and depressed- he’s been on it 4 days and I’m worried - my question is should he keep taking
