Health update
Well, the BIG news is that I did NOT slip a disc. The doc said I severely strained the muscles from my knees all the way to my lower back. The pain is almost the same as a slipped disc, but the timescale dramatically different. She said it could take 4-6 weeks. And if I didn’t feel noticeably better

Methotrexate or not?
My bloodtests are always normal, yes I've still got thigh
pain
, neck and
shoulder
pain
, and mild hand pain. He's working on a process of elimination and if the markers stay normal, wants me to go on methotrexate.

Which painkillers with prednisolone
I have just reduced prednisolone to the second stage 50mg. Headaches are not to bad but still there at times. Can I take painkillers, if so which ones. The pains are normally in the temple and forehead areas.

Alternative to ibuprofen
I use paracetamol for most
pain
however I sometimes get muscle spasms in my neck/
shoulder
which I found ibuprofen treated. Does anyone know of an alternative painkiller that may help?

ibuprofen gel
Currently unable to contact a pharmacist or doctor. Does anyone know of a topical pain killer gel I can take whilst on anticoagulants? Apparently, ibuprofen gel is a no-no. Thanks Thanks everyone, pharmacist confirmed I can use Deep Heat, Heat Patches and or, paracetamol.

ear admin thank you for letting me join this IBS site as it may help my husband to understand it, and me too. So about 3 months my husband was diagnosed by a doctor over the phone, and also to see a doctor at the surgery as he had been having tummy troubles. My husband has been prescribed Mebeverine

Wife's in Chronic pain.
Wife is bed bound with an ongoing degenerative spine condition which is causing chronic pain. Our doctors will not subscribe the only effective pain killer which is Fentinol Patches. Other patients in our area whom are in less pain are prescribed patches so we feel really upset with Doctors actions

Good morning, hope all are as well as can be. Following on from cramps in legs to a trip to A&E.
Well I've gone from that to taking my gtn for
pain
in
shoulder
and spots of
pain
in right chest to passing out and being non responsive with eyes open. My other half finally got me to come around but he'd already phoned the ambulance and they wanted to speak to me.

Confused and discouraged.
However, after a couple of weeks at 2 1/2 I started experiencing the familiar neck,
shoulder
and hip
pain
- not as intense as in the beginning, but enough to wake me up at night. I have been waiting to see if adrenals just needed time to catch up but even with 1/4 mg. (try measuring that out!...)

I have been very unwell over Christmas with lots of different symptoms going on including palpitations, rib
pain
,
shoulder
aches, random shooting pains in every part of my body. I know that the doctor is going to say I'm over treating my thyroid as he will go by the TSH.

Prescribed Alendronic Acid and Lansaprozal at start of treatment. Are they necessary?

shoulder
. Sleeping much better, feel tired but have pulled back on activity and allowing plenty of rest time. Started a low carb diet, take Pred after breakfast of eggs ( veg omlette) and full fat Greek yoghurt.

Pinching pain in back during 2ww
Hi! I'm 8 days past 5 day embryo transfer and I have been experiencing nerve pain in my lower back it feels like I'm being pinched in my lower back and it's mainly on my left side, I've been experiencing that since day 4 and it's getting quite painful. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure what

Oh yes, the neck and
shoulder
pain
requires no male exaggeration, and if I need to pee, there better be a loo close by. My neurologist (makes it sound as if I own him - reality is I can only see him when the NHS planets are aligned) is ‘moving towards’ a diagnosis of MSA.

Does it get worse
Hi, I have had Tinnitus my whole life or at least as long as I can remember. I didn't realise that it wasnt normal until a few years ago. I am not sure how I ended up with it, my up bring was very stressful and my mother would often give me high stress painkillers to keep me quiet. I have read some research
