I think I have mild shin splints
Hi guys, so yet again I’ve started the C25K programme. I’m now on W4R2. I’ve suffered with these in the past, like quite badly and I’ve taken all the advice on here and so to confirm: - I had a gait analysis done which recommended me a type of running shoe AND some insoles to put in (Saucony brand) -

On Benapali. Fungal infection treatment advice needed.
I’m on Benapali for 6 months and my RA is under control. However I have developed some mild fungal infections; Ringworm on Face, fungal infection on toenails, and start of athletes foot. Has anyone had more than 1 of these infections simultaneously and if so how were they treated ? Currently I’m treating

It’s not just Skin Cancer

UV exposure damage
‼ If you could see the damage you’ve already done due to UV exposure, would it change your sun protection habits? Would you check your skin monthly for the early warning signs? This image, taken with a special UV camera, show’s UV damage to the skin (on the left) that’s invisible to the naked eye.

Sun beds are classed as a Group 1 Carcinogen!

27 years off dialysis

Hey Everyone Ok so I am thinking of starting the couch to 5k I have not ran in a really long time, I am definitely not as fit as I used to be but last time I started this journey I ended up having
shin
splints
. This makes me nervous because I can still feel the pain it caused.

CLL and Skin Cancer
My mum was diagnosed in 2008. Fast forward to now, she is currently on Ibrutinib which has been a journey in itself. She has been on it now for nearly 2 years. So in 2020/2021 she developed SCC on her nose. That was treated with RT. And now it has been found on her kidney. For that she is on W&W. Is

Cold and sore throat
Hi guys, I have been on benepali for 5 weeks and I think it's working, I still have to take some codiene and naproxen but not as much as before. I caught a cold from my granddaughter last Thursday with a sore throat, sneezing and now developed a cough every now and then. Do you know if I can carry on

Tomorrow will be my final run
The second week is very tough, I have
shin
splints
, which forced me to stop exercising for two-three weeks. To recover from
shin
splints
, I changed my shoes and ran in the grass from week 3 to week 6. So excited for my last run and to graduate. Never thought I would accomplish this.
