‼ Once melanoma has spread to other parts of the body it is referred to as ‘metastatic melanoma’ at this stage it becomes very difficult to treat and prognosis is poor, so early detection, diagnosis and treatment is vital.

As with all skin cancers, melanoma can often be seen on the skin, making it easier to detect in it's early stages, so checking your skin once a month for the early signs - is vital.

Get to know your skin and every lump, bump, mole, freckle and mark and ALWAYS seek immediate professional assessment with anything NEW, UNUSUAL or CHANGING.
