Is this a "normal" reaction to NDT?
Hi All, I'm trying to take NDT instead of levo, on which I was for around 20 years before, mostly on 75 mcg. My TSH went out of balance back in October 2022 and between then and now it's been a massive struggle. I increase my T4 slightly (even by 12,5 mcg) and get heart palpitations (heart was checked

Progynova blues
I'm on day 8 of progynova estradiol tablets (3 x 2mg daily) for a modified frozen cycle and feeling..... meh. I've been feeling ok apart from a few headaches but yesterday the blues hit hard and I just feel so disconnected and like I don't care about anything. I have been feeling so bored and unmotivated

I was told by endo I could get t3 if I did 6 weeks on levo to show I don't convert properly. I did this on 175 levo but my t4 was rising out of range and t3 not in the highest range. I've been on ndt and t3 but always self sorced. But I was hoping to get t3 on percripton. The gp has said I now have to

Advice please BFP 10dp5dt but still brown spotting since 8dp
I had slightly thicker brown spotting/discharge a short while ago so done a test thinking it’s my period trying to come through and just want to stop meds and get it over with (had no pregnancy symptoms) and to complete shock it looks like a positive. Quite faint but it’s not first wee of day. I’d love

Lining thickness
Hi just after some advice please! I had my first scan 10 days after starting Estrogen medication and it only measured 7.8mm I was then told to start progesterone 4 days after. Is this ok? I’m worried my lining is too thin will it continue to grow up until transfer this week?

New member, looking for alternatives to Thyroid-S
Dear all, I am new to this forum but not to thyroid disease. I was diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism in 1999, at age 29, and put on levothyroxine. I struggled on it for years, tried different brands, but never felt optimal. I needed 200 micrograms a day just to feel human, while doctors kept

Glandulars and NDT, whatty what now?? Confused.
Hi everyone, I think I'm being a bit dim here but I have to ask ...what is difference between Glandulars and NDT? I know M is a glandular.... But then what? What does that actually mean re. treating hypothyroidism, I still don't understand the difference despite my Googling. 😐 Also, why all the

8dp5dt spotting and cramps
So the wait is actually going quite fast I’ve not been struggling too much until today, I had period type cramps last night but I’ve had that on my negative and positive transfers before. However today they have got quite strong and I’m having brown spotting when I wipe, it’s quite light and watery.

Any experience with Haematomas?
Hi, Just after some advice. At my 6 week scan it showed a uterus indentation. I had to scan again a week later and now the indentation has gone and instead there is a mass in the yolk sack, although they can't be sure it is in the yolk sack, separately they think I have a haematoma. The person doing

#2 Update: Adrenal Testing
This afternoon (12.45) I had the blood draw for: Adrenal auto-antibodies, Aldosterone, Renin, Potassium & Sodium. I've also had a short Synacthen test. Stop The Thyroid Madness (For better, for worse) insist that salt is restricted the day before Aldosterone testing and that the arm is held at a perpendicular

Weird over the top question: old sample of urine reliable for pregnancy testing?
So my OTD is tomorrow and I want to test my first urine for the day. However, I find I am waking around 4-5am and busting to pee then. Do you think I could pee in a cup at 4-5am, then do the pregnancy test on this sample when I wake up at a normal hour ie 7am? Sleep is very precious to me these days

I go on holiday Monday, and have an 8 hour flight, the thought of bleeding heavily is scaring me! What are your experiences of stopping progesterone? I have enough to last me til Tuesday
