No bleed after -ve test
I have just had a BFN after 3rd transfer. With the first 2 I bled before the test so I knew the outcome. This time I still haven’t bled. Could it be the oestrogen or progesterone? I am on the same dose as I was with my first 2 cycles. I also had depo injection all 3 cycles. Only difference this time

Have you disclosed your self-medication to GP?
Hello Everybody, I've been successfully self-medicating with T4 and T3 or NDT, without GP's knowledge, since 2016. For the 30 years before that I could not get diagnosed for hypothyroidism because I am borderline central hypothyroid and my TSH never got high enough for the NHS diagnosis criteria.

Timing and reasons for Thyroid blood tests
Recommended by numerous research papers that thyroid testing should be in the morning and before taking daily levothyroxine TSH has a circadian rhythm and is highest in early morning and lowest in afternoon Links to a few research papers and articles https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc

Getting the NDT dosage right
Hello again friends, I'm writing again in the hope that your collective expertise will come up with a solution for me. I switched from Levothyroxine to NDT (NP Thyroid) some time back, and I've been testing every 12 weeks and tweaking the dose trying to get it right. The latest results, which arrived

HRT and diarrhoea
I started HRT at 49 a few months back, not due to menopausal symptoms, but because I found my testosterone to be at the very bottom of range. The very good private hormone doctor I saw said HRT should balance my hormones and is a better way to increase testosterone than by giving testosterone (it did

A message for Admin
Hello Admin. I posted recently and received a message from a scammer on here. You closed the chat thread so I can no longer see it. I was seeking advice on NDT availability. In short, I was contacted by a “member” who directed me to a SCAM website called [site name edited by admin]. I lost over £150

If you visited a different time zone (-2hrs) for a week, would you adjust your dosage TIMING to match new time zone, or home time zone?
Would appreciate any advice on timing of taking thyroid meds, if travelling to a different time zone. I will be away for a week where the time zone is 2hrs difference. I normally take my NDT at 6am each day. Will the timing of taking the thyroid meds matter much for this short trip? I just don't know

How many days of medication is this?
I hope everyone’s doing okay. Sorry this is a silly question, but I’m worried about getting things right. I have a procedure coming up which happens 6-10 days after starting progesterone. If I am starting progesterone cyclogest (x2) today, would I start progesterone on day “0” and therefore Eg. day

Hormone concerns prior to ICSI
HiWe are due to start out first IVF/ICSI next month. I privately have been doing my own investigations as our GP and NHS is terrible in our area and I have been having symptoms of concern. We are referred for ICSI due to poor morphology but also I am 36 and AMH 6.25. So far I have found that on a day

Falling asleep troubles getting me down
I’ve come along way but this is getting me down. I cannot sleep before 12, often 1am, Wednesday was after 3am. I’ve taken sleeping tablets for a few years (low dose Amitriptyline) and gawd that helped massively resulting in a good 7hours sleep from midnight. I’m titrating NDT Armour and in January

DI02 Gene test
As if I hadn’t spent sufficient thousands on trying to find the answers I went and did a DI02 test to see whether I had difficulty in converting T4 to T3. Primarily to present my findings to the endo in the hope I may get Liothyronine on the NHS. The result came back saying the TT genotype appears

7 weeks spotting
I’ve been spotting for 3 weeks now every day. Had a scan yesterday and baby is fine has a heartbeat etc and nurse says don’t worry. However I’ve had fertility treatments and tests for years prior (10 years ttc) and always had low progesterone. I think this is what is causing my bleeding. The nurses and
