Tilade or Intal inhalers and exercise

When is it an 'asthma attack'?
I was with a friend who also has asthma when my symptoms were starting to get worse as they have been for the past few weeks. My chest gets tight, I cough and breathing in or out takes more effort. On this occasion I also had what i call 'noisy breathing' where it kind of feels wheezy but doesn't sound

Omg feel worse than when I smoked
Asthmatic and finally packed in the cigs on the 29th June so 8 days ago . I've been the docs today as I'm really struggling to breathe normally . She was a lovely doc but said she didn't know what to suggest and asked me what I thought 😂😂 we settled on prednisolone as I'm literally so breathless.

Seretide causing tremor?
Had a lot of trouble over the last 12 weeks or so with shortness of breath, which a respiratory specialist now believes were not purely asthma exacerbations and were more likely virus/infection related. Anyway, whilst my SOB was bad I was upped from my regular Seretide 100 to Seretide 250. Since starting

Flostair versuses seretide
I have very recently swapped from seretide 250 to Flostair 100/6. Started Tuesday and asthma is getting worse again. I thought it was just the heat but no barely two days of being off seretide my chest is start to ache and I reaching for my ventolin. Nuts I thought so I going to put myself back on seretide

Lack of care
I feel I am being let down. I was diagnosed with severe emphyseyma fev 33. High pulse rate 125+, constant sleepless nights. any activity like putting out washing or loading or unloading washing machine causes my sats to drop between 57 and 75 regularly. I have tried all this year to discuss this with

Fostair 200/6 or 100/6
I've just been prescribed Fostair 200/6. Others who have problems with this strength have been put on the 100/6. I've been on Seretide until now. Should I ask my doctor to change to Fostair 100/6? before I start using it?

Combination inhalers
Hi all, looking for some advice before I head for annual review tomorrow. I used seretide 250 for about a year but had to stop as I ended up with virtually no voice and couldn't do my job! Doctor changed to symbicort 200 and whilst I do now have a voice my breathing is far worse. Does anyone have similar

New asthma nurse 12 week review
Tomorrow I go back for a 12 week review, New asthma nurse hope I chosen the best one. Didn't need any updating according to receptionist at GPs, Asthma UK advice to try flostair newer inhaler still in powder for instead of seretide. Don't know if I will drop down to 125 instead of 250 strength. Asthma

Can't exercise
I really need to do something to improve my fitness levels but I don't know what to do. I am reasonably fit and play sport 4 hours a week and walk lots but when I try to run, or when I suddenly have to be active (including when I play sport), I get out of breath really quickly. I could walk for hours

Duoresp update
So I've been taking duoresp for a week now, 4 puffs twice a day. I have only needed to take my ventolin twice in a week, which for me is incredible, no bad side effects yet, my chest did hurt on the third day but it passed. Mornings are the worst time for me, I would normally be coughing and very tight

Inhalers
If I was to make a wish to come true it would be for all inhalers to be made pump action ie airflusal & seretide ,spriva to me there is nothing worse than trying to suck one of these in when you can't breathe in the 1st place . Anyone agree ?
