Hi all I have

Just tried symbicort after years of seretide didn't like it so trying relvar Ellipta anyone been on it? Any side effects as the symbicort left me unable to leave the comfort of my settee?

What was wrong with Symbicort?

I ask because I have been on it for some 10 years and have no problems.

I am on 100/6 twice a day, BUT I do add 1 inhalation of Oxis 6 in the morning so effectively I am on 100/12 am

Hi - I was changed from Symbicort 400 to relvar ellipta 184. Mainly I like it, I only have to take it once a day, I don't shake nearly as much after I take it, it counts down the doses really clearly and my asthma (though still not well controlled ) is better than it was.

The downside (for me) is I can't step the inhaler up when my pf drops / i am unwell/time of the month... Which I did regularly with symbicort.

All in all I like it and would t want to swap back. Hope you get on with it ok xxx
