adverse reactions to LABAs?
I've had a pretty rough few months since moving from clenil (steroid only) to seretide, then symbicort, both of which contain a long acting beta agonist. I've been back on the clenil for about 10days and feel a bit better, so my GP is working on the assumption I may be sensitive to the LABAs. I'm wondering

does anyone know where to buy the medication for a nebuliser (ventolin) as it is my GP's policy not to allow patients a home nebuliser. ?
I have had asthma for around 10 years and use seretide and ventolin accuhalers. I have now been started on Spiriva, but feel I would benefit from a nebuliser, but I cannot find the medication on line. Can anyone help? Thanks.

One thing after another - feeling seriously overwhelmed!
Hi guys, hope everyone is getting through the winter ok and that you are all well!! OK ... here goes. Looking back, my asthma has been getting progressively worse for the last 4 winters. I didn't go to see my GP because if it though, because I wasn't the typical ""noisy lungs"" asthmatic, so just got

Ongoing asthma
Hi, I wondered if other people live with daily asthma symptoms? I've had continuing asthma symptoms for about six months now and the doctors just seem to have no answer and that I get on with it. I'm so tired of going to the doctors and think what is the point now of going back. I'm on seretide 250

Hi all, I'm new here. Thought I'd sign up and ask a few things since I've been lurking the forum quite a lot over the past weeks and it's been very useful. I was diagnosed about five years ago by a respiratory consultant I was refered to due to anaphylaxis/general allergy issues (no allergy specialists

Skin reactions to Seretide inhaler.
Has any woman (or man I suppose?) used a face mask and found her facial skin has crumbled in places. I have a feeling this is the side affect of skin thinning. Katie JJ

How to approach doctors to test for CF?

I'm 19 years old, and when I was a just few months old I started getting chest infections which I needed hospitalisation and nebulisers etc for. When I turned

Montelukast 10_mg
I was diagnosed with asthma a number of years ago & until just recently was coping with Seretide & Salbutamol inhalers. However, after a persistent cough which started around October, I visited asthma nurse who suggested Montelukast tablets at night. I've just read all the blurb & though she mentioned

Asthma and feeling low and poorly
Good evening everyone, I bet many of you are finding it more of a strangle now as the wet and cold weather has set in. My asthma has really started to play up since Saturday night when my peak flow started to drop. On Sunday when I took my peak flow it was down to 320 when my personal best is 450.

Seen Consultant
Since I was diagnosed with COPD in July this year, I have been asking my Nurse and GP to be referred to Consultant. Several times I asked them and they kept saying that they only refer when they can no longer manage disease. I had spirometry in July with the Nurse at GP's and it came up 73%. Inhalers
