I'm new here can you comment on changing from Seretide versus Sirdupla please?
I have just had a letter from my GP saying that they will be automatically changing my Seretide to Sirdupla when I next ask for a repeat! They say it is the same but cheaper so will save the NHS money. I am a mild asthmatic and am a little worried as I have been stable on Seretide for a while, since

Rattling
I've got a rattle which seems to be on the right side of my chest and seems to go down my side. I am taking all my hayfever drugs and I am taking my Seretide as prescribed. I've been taking my Ventolin a bit more too. I have been coughing as well. I've done my peak flow reading which is 450, about normal

How long before u get an attack if stop preventer?
Hi, For the last year my doctors couldn't decide if I had asthma or not, have now been officially diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction (yay!) which mimics asthma. I could still have asthma and vcd. I think the inhalers ( seretide and ventolin) have been aggravating the vcd as I'm hyper sensitive

Hello Asthma friends
Spring turned into winter with fresh snow on the mountains. I am aching a lot. Apart from all the tests under the sun, like coloscopy and immunology, things are better. I am tapering down the Seretide 250mg. They are not sure I have asthma. They think it is the dyspnea from the LAM (lymphangioleiomyomatosis

Well if you read my previous post, Ive been having some odd symptoms... mostly tight chest and breathless. Seretide question
Are there any long term effects of using Seretide Evohalers? I have been on a125/50 for years. My asthma is well controlled - I rarely use Ventolin. However my weight is a worry and I suffer from idigestion and acid reflux. Would stoping Seretide help?

Review and Spirometry Test.
Tomorrow I have a review and spirometry test following the change in my inhalers from Seretide 125, Ipratropium and Ventolin to just Ipratropium and Symbicort. I just hope that I’m not asked what effect the change has had on me, because with my failing memory I can’t remember how I felt before, to be

GERD?
I have well controlled asthma until it flares up usually after a cold which turns into a chest infection and it takes a couple of months to settle down. The last 2 years ive had bad bronchitis which did get better..eventually, but ive had really bad heartburn and reflux after this too. I did take Lanzaprozole

Stopping all inhalers after 10 years!
I have been on Seretide and Spiriva for 10 years, but was informed that a move away from an inhaled steroid to a LAMA/LABA inhaler was more suitable - as I do not have regular exacerbation's or asthma. A week ago told by a consultant to stop my inhalers after discussing this. Its very strange and

Hayfever?
Hi all, I'm taking seretide 250 at the moment and the prescribing of it has coincided with what I guess is pretty bad hay-fever. However, antihistamines aren't really cutting it so I wondered whether it could be that I'm allergic to the seretide? I hope not as it's the best thing I've taken for a while

Asthma attack lasting days
36 year old with what I thought to have been well controlled asthma my whole life. Seretide twice a day and salbutamol twice a day for as long as I can remember and never any problems - play lots of sport etc. Monday evening my breathing was constrained. Blue inhaler wasn't relieving it. Wednesday was

Using an Aerochamber
Hi there I have been taking inhalers for over 30 years and after a recent visit to an ENT consultant I have been given an aerochamber plus to use with my seretide inhaler. Is it normal to not taste or feel anything?
