Best asthma memory?
There’s always going to be a lot of negativity on forums like this and that’s totally fine because this is not a positive condition. We often hear about people’s terrible experiences with meds, doctors that don’t understand, etc. etc. But what’s everyone’s most positive asthma memory? For me, it’s Christmas

Aloflute
Just been for my seretide prescription and been given aloflute 125/25 not seretide. Anybody been given this? I thought they couldn't change it without prior notice to the patient. Already been changed ventolin to salami.

Too much Seretide? Lower back pain Left + Right
Is it possible that my Seretide 250 inhaler 3 puffs am & pm could be causing lower back /kidney aches? If tried lowering to 2 puffs twice a day but then I’m reaching for ventolin. Is anyone else on a high dose like me?

Seretide
Is anyone else having trouble getting hold of Seretide 250? My pharmacy couldn’t get it and now they can’t get the alternative (AirFluSal) in either! They gave my partner a slip saying they owed me when he went to collect my prescription for me and said I need to go and see my GP and ask them to change

Seretide to Fostair, my experience and concern.
So like all of us my Asthma gets worse in the Winter, however this year I wanted to just check in with my Doctor about my symptoms. I mostly struggle breathing at night, I average a 550 on my peak flow in the day (I'm 50 year old male) but with Ventolin get straight back up to healthy 650. I was on

New medication while in hospital
Hi. Thought I would let people know there is a alternative to carbosistine for loosening mucous. Alan as been given a one a day to be dissolved in water called Nacsys 600mg. Obviously easier than taking 6 a day. They then stopped the seretide and spiriva and gave him a 3 in one inhaler called Trimbow

Ventolin inhaler
I have occasional asthma, usually triggered by heavy cough/cold for which I take Ventolin and Seretide inhalers. Haven’t needed them since my AF diagnosis in July, but now have my first winter cold. No wheezing yet - but wanted to ask others if Ventolin affects their AF. I’m on Flecainide and Apixaban

Generic Vs brand inhaler
Hi all. I take Seretide and get my inhalers from Boots. This month they have switched from Glaxo Smith Kline branded Seretide to a different brand called Aloflute/Mylan. Some formula though. Do you think there's a difference or is it just a brand name? I'm sure it is cheaper for them.

What medication next?
Hi all, my son has an emergency appointment with his consultant this morning after another admission on Friday (3rd in 6 weeks). He is currently taking 2x Flixotide 250 and 1x Formoterol morning and night plus montelukast and an antihistamine daily. At our last planned appointment in August his consultant

Preventers make it harder for me to breathe. Does this happen to anyone else?
Hi, I have been an asthmatic from my early years. (I am nearing retirement now). Three times I have tried preventers but had to stop - becotide twice and seretide once. Each time I had the same symptoms. I am relating these symptoms how I see them in my mind. I have no idea what is happening in my lungs

Seretide 250/25
My GP has me on Seretide 3 puffs x 2 am and pm. Is anyone else in a similar situation? I know the recommendations are 2 puffs x 2 a day but it’s just jut enough for me. Would be really interested to hear what others do to stay of oral steroids in times of flare up. Xx

Switching from Seretide to Sereflo?
Is it likely that I would be able to switch from Seretide 125/25 to Sereflo 125/25? How easy would it be for a pharmacy to get that in, and is a GP likely to authorise it? I've been stable on Seretide 125/25 for around 6 months now, after changing down from Seretide 250/25. Last time I was in A&E with

In need of your expertise!
Hey all. I’m in need of a bit of advice and I think my question is well placed here given all of your experiences. I’m terribly allergic to lots of things and have been under immunology for many years and they do a great job of managing my allergies. This year, I developed a serious case of breathlessness
