Just been for my seretide prescription and been given aloflute 125/25 not seretide. Anybody been given this? I thought they couldn't change it without prior notice to the patient. Already been changed ventolin to salami.

Aloflute and Seretide both contain fluticasone as the steroid, and salmeterol as the long-acting reliever. They’re just different brand names :) similarly, Salamol and Ventolin are both just different brand names for salbutamol (although the excipients — extra things like the propellant — are slightly different so taste different; if this is a problem or if you have a preference for one over the other, you can request it to be named on your prescription)

Hope that helps!
