Relationship between CLL and Carbamazepine (Tegretol)
Certain antiseizure (antiepileptic) medications, such as Carbamazepine (Tegretol), cause a lymphocytosis. Does anyone know of a relationship between this medication and the incidence of CLL? Keppra is another seizure mediacation that causes a lymphocytosis. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated

alcohol and medication
Hi, My 18 y/o daughter has CP and Seizure Disorder. She is on Keppra, Lamictal and Epilim to control her seizures. Will an occasional glass of wine upset the balance of these medications?

Metallic taste and smell when I blow my nose.
When I blow my nose, I get a metallic taste and smell that can last all day. The medications I take, Keppra and Lamictal, do not say metallic taste or smell are potential side effects. Started drinking more water everyday, roughly 2 liters. Been trying different diets and testing foods, like staying

Breathlessness while on Keppra
I started with Epilepsy about 4 years ago and eventually the fits settled on Keppra having tried both Lamotragine and sodium valporate. After 3 years on 1000 mg per day split into 2 doses, I suffered a really bad reaction to the Keppra- intense nausea, bad back ache and dreadful confusion and the dose

Soon to be mom
Hello, I’m a 25 year old pregnant woman with epilepsy and I’m on 2000mg of keppra a day. I really need answers from the epileptic moms out there, the questions I have are: - Do I have to worry about breastfeeding while on keppra? Will it have any affects on my baby? - I am very scared of having a seizure

Myoclonus and Sleep Deprivation
Once again I turned on the light in the early morning, this time at 3 am, to view the show: a furious firing of fasciculations beneath the surface of my calf. This has been my ongoing living nightmare. Carbidopa-Levodopa, my latest treatment drug, is now failing. I have given up on sleep in the wee hours

Use caution with your meds.
Yesterday I took my 4 O'Clock dose at noon. So I found this out when I went to take my 4'O Clock dose. It wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have Lyrica and Keppra to take at 4 O'Clock. So my feet are burning something fierce right now. That's also probably why I didn't sleep all that well. I'll definitely

34 yrs,7 meds and a surgery later: Only Marijuana controls my seizures. Less side effects, less money, and greatly improved quality of life.
It took some time to determine, but the fact of the matter is that Marijuana is the only medication that controls my seizures. I regret not trying it until after I graduated high school. Phenabarbital, Dilantin, Trileptal, Keppra, Vimpat, Fycompa, Lamictal, Surrgery: I SWEAR TO YOU, FROM THE BOTTOM

Lamictal and electric shock nighttime 'seizures'
I have had JME for nearly fifty years, but I was on Keppra, then Epilim, then Fycompa, all with Lamictal from circa 2012 that caused the question? I was taken off these medications, BUT it was when I was on the Lamictal solely when I would have these attacks, I would still be having my Grand mal attacks

Officially on the second month, second bottle of mekinist. Still almost no side effects. The rash comes and goes. Never amounts to anything thank god. No fevers, had a few nights when he first started where he was close to 100.4 but never reached it. Seems like he is adjusting well to the combo. Pain

I'm a 31 year old female who found myself in the ER (again) yesterday with chest pains, and periodic episodes of dry cough and shortness of breath that come on suddenly, often when I'm not doing anything strenuous - I can get short of breath putting dishes away but later in the day run on the cross trainer
