Boost T3 conversion by up to 61%
Some US medics have shown recently that using vitamins A K And D have boosted T3 conversion by up to 61%. This work interests me as I have started a new version of a high quality vitamin pill with much higher doses of D3 and includes K. It also includes chelate selenium and zinc in sensible levels.

Where from here? With high levels of antibodies but ok T4, T3 and THS functions, but all the symptoms of Hashimotos
Just got off of phone from lovely GP who wrote to endocrinology for advice on my increasing antibody levels ( two private blood tests in three months showing significant increase) and therefore increase in my symptoms. Endocrinology consultant of course stated that my antibodies do not cause the symptoms

Well I’d known what i know now, i would never have let them remove my thyroid. What a roller coaster. Up and down bad anxiety, or depression, struggling to grow my nails. So many things I can’t eat, as affect absorption of levythroxine. Got flu for 5 weeks. And the worst worst thing my energy levels,

Antioxidants - Pro-oxidants.
It's common to reconsider diet following a cancer diagnosis. Perhaps give up foods touted as pro-cancer & load up on those thought to be protective. As though what we should have been eating before, is what we should be eating henceforth. But what if the cancer likes the new diet? It's widely accepted

How do you know what foods, if any, to give up when you have Hashimotos?
Hi everyone - love this forum! Hope you're all having a good day wherever you are in the world. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos last year but was fortunate in that it was detected early enough that I don't appear to need any medication as yet. However, my thyroid is enlarged and I have multiple nodules

Perspective on blood test results?
Hi everyone I am looking for some extra perspective on my blood test results. I think that most of the symptoms I'm experiencing are because I have quite high rT3 and bottom of the range T3. I am currently on 50mcg levo and 20mcg T3 with my doctor aiming to increase my T3 to 30mcg over the next few weeks

Temperature Drops In The Afternoon
Does anyone find their temperature drops in the afternoon to low levels? I have had this for many years as I have ME/CFS and it is a known symptom, but since finding out my T3 is at the bottom of normal I am wondering if this is part of the problem. So today when I got up it was 36.5 and this afternoon

Will the NHS now listen to me on my latest Thyroid results, advice greatly appreciated.
Hi As many of you know i've posted here previously, to cut a very long story short (detailed in previous posts). I paid private to see an Endocrinologist after going to my GP with thyroid symptoms and my TSH being 6.8 and Thyroid antibodies of 58, and low vitamins from the GP testings. I didn't realise

First Blue Horizon Tests since starting NDT - Expertise needed please!
Hi, I started taking Thiroyd in January and have been steadily increasing going by symptoms - am now taking 1 1/2 tabs am and pm. My TSH was 2.97 (0.27 - 4.20) and Ferritin was 52 (30.0 - 470.0) at GP's in January. These are my private test results and they are saying that I now have too much Thyroxine

For those of you who've been referred to an Endo' in the UK and know you have raised antibodies, please could you let me know what your Endo' has said, and have they changed your treatment or scanned your thyroid? I know nearly all hypothyroidism is due to these and most of us have Hashimoto's but it
