Well I’d known what i know now, i would never have let them remove my thyroid. What a roller coaster. Up and down bad anxiety, or depression, struggling to grow my nails. So many things I can’t eat, as affect absorption of levythroxine. Got flu for 5 weeks. And the worst worst thing my energy levels, have never been the same. I used to have a lovely energy about me, if music came on in the supermarket i would start dancing and everyone loved and got high off my beautiful energy. Now I’m like a zombie most days slow and when I exercise I’m wiped out literally. It’s hard work to keep myself optimal. I eat Brazil nuts for the magnesium and selenium, but read nuts have to be soaked so am I wasting my time. I take added vits. And eat healthy. Oh and iv stared taking the levy at 5am so I can have breakfast as wasnt eating till afternoon then had no appetite. Haven’t gained weight tho and i get mostly bout 6 hours sleep at night. I hardly go out as the least thing triggers stress or anxiety. Oh I was drinking yakobee to get full vits and minerals in me but just realised it contains soy which is app no good as affects the absorption of levy. I never ever felt this bad pre op. I feel like I’m now managing a life long disability. I used to be active and sociable. Please some one tell me it gets better with time 🙏🏽😫😢

Post your latest blood results so people can advise, you may not yet be on the right dose as it's still early days.
Where does he get it, do i need to find private endo? And how much is it. I feel like the life is draining out of me, every part of my body feels deflated like I was once a full tyre running fast or slow or sometimes round the bend ha but always full and able to get around. Now feel like someone stabbed a nail in said tyre and I’m slowly deflating and it’s a struggle to get anywhere even out of bed or off the chair. Don’t get me wrong I have some good days where I’m incredibly high but they are usually followed by a week of extreme fatigue. I need to talk I mean chat to ppl who’v had Thyroid removed. But other than here don’t know anyone. You know what they said when I asked how it would affect me without a thyroid u know what the doc said youl gain weight, and I thought well if that’s all I can live with that boy was that wrong. So many problems. Digestion, mood and energy being the biggest.
