Newbie - coming off LDN
Hi, I have Hashi's and have been using LDN for about 18 months. As I don't want to take anything un-necessary, do you any of you have experience of using LDN, if so, what benefits/problems have you had, and are you happy to stay using it or would you consider coming off it. If you came off it, how did

The good news is....
Hi everyone, The good news is my TPO antibodies have reduced from 338 (000-34) to 28 (yipee, within range!) and my Thyroglobin antibodies have reduced from 2,784 (0.00-115.00) to 700. The bad news is my thyroid blood test results are as follows: TSH 0.151 (0.27-4.20) T4 22.400 (12-22) FT3 4.61 (3.10

Things that helped T4/NDT therapy.
I thought we can share some things that made a difference for us energy wise or in hypo well being, either in good or bad ways. Things that have helped my energy, and made me feel that thyroxine was working better: Selenium (100 mcg/day). People in Europe/New Zealand are deficient in it, USA is

T3 Dosage
My friend had a complete thyroidectomy 10 years ago. Since that time she has been on 200 mg of Levothyroxine. She continued to have debilitating symptoms such as weight gain and low energy levels so she researched the T3 route and decided that she wanted to try it. When I asked her about her dosage

Supplement timing
I currently take all sorts of supplements, but reading up on some I’m not sure if I’m taking them correctly. There’s loads of posts about what to take and differing views on how and when. Sorry but I’m really confused and want to know I’m doing the right thing otherwise it’s a waste of time and money

alternative iron supplements to Iron Biglycinate
Hello there! I'm wondering how Britangerine's experiment with Liver went? Was she able to get her ferritin iron to increase? I started taking the desiccated liver pills from Solar. They are too big to swallow whole so i break them into four. Breaking them up means you taste the pill- but (for me

Need to slightly adjust meds, advice on whether I do T4 or T3 please.
Hello all, I’ve been reading a lot on this forum and picked up some excellent advice already. I have Hashimoto’s, it’s in our family (joy!). I take Thyroxine and recently have added T3 (Thybon Henning) as I see a private endo. This has made a huge difference. When I was on Thyroxine only, I was plodding

Bad depression after thyroidectomy 2 years later still crying every morning.
No one seems to talk about bad depression from Graves disease. I have cried more in the last 2 years that I have in my whole life. I started to add selenium to the T4 nature throid I take. It seems to be working until recently where I am crying again. I can handle my life pretty well but not at all
