The importance of vitamin e for Hashimoto's?
Hi everyone I learnt a lot about vitamins from everyone here (thank you) but I've not heard much mentioned about vitamin e. A few sources seem to suggest it is important in hypothyroidism: https://thyroidpharmacist.com/articles/vitamin-e-and-hashimotos/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23001627/ https

Bloods Test- what supplements to stop beforehand
Today I finally got to chat with a endocrinologist who was really helpful and she listen to me and my symptoms. She is testing me for celiac and my cortisol level. Bloods need to be done at 9am in 10 days time. Do I need to stop any supplements beforehand? I’m currently taking : ( Levo) VIT D B Complex

Test help for tiredness
Hello, I am looking for a bit of help with my recent test results. I am sorry to ask as I know there are many of us here asking but the nature of thyroid is that there are so many variables aren't there so it is sometimes hard to match others' answers to your own situation. My history is this: March

Recent results are confusing
Hi all, I’ve recently had bloods done (NHS and Thriva) and the two are quite different. My Thriva says my TSH is 7.34 and my FT4 is 14.2. It wasn’t a full thyroid test so I don’t have T3 or TPO. My ferritin from the NHS test was low, 12.5 but Thriva test was higher (?). My folate and Vit D is v low

Myo-inositol b complex with selenium
I’ve read that these supplements are very good for Hashimoto’s. Cytoplan have Super B Extra. I struggle swallowing tablets and wonder how big they are and/or if there’s another option. Has anyone had any success taking these supplements for Hashimoto’s?

The Importance of Nutritional Factors and Dietary Management of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
This paper was written with specific reference to Poland. For that reason, there will be elements which are inappropriate in other countries. My main aim in posting is not to distribute the advice contained so much as to highlight that there are at least some people who recognise that there are issues
