I’ve read that these supplements are very good for Hashimoto’s. Cytoplan have Super B Extra. I struggle swallowing tablets and wonder how big they are and/or if there’s another option. Has anyone had any success taking these supplements for Hashimoto’s?

Cytoplan have Super B Extra.

Are you considering that supplement? If you are then I would reconsider. It's a multivitamin and contains 200mcg iodine which we shouldn't consider taking unless first tested then only supplement if found to be deficient.

Igennus Super B is good quality and cheap vitamin B complex. Also pretty small tablets Contains folate. Full dose is two tablets per day. Many/most people may only need one tablet per day. Certainly only start on one per day (or even half tablet per day for first couple of weeks)

Or Thorne Basic B or jarrow B-right are other options that contain folate, but both are large capsules. Though you can open capsules and tip powder out.

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Recommend getting full thyroid and vitamin testing 8-12 weeks after any significant change in circumstances (like giving up gluten)

Come back with new post of your own once you get full thyroid and vitamin results

I take the Solgar Inositol and Now Selenium. The Selenium caps are small and easy to swallow. The Inositol powder tastes quite nice, so I either open up the caps or take with warm water and chew them until the capsule disolves.

Thank you, didn’t seem to suggest it to be useful for Hashimoto’s!
