Good Morning All - Well just received the medicheck results from going from a TSH fo 10..and feeling really poorly dated 20 may 2020 to 14 July i waited 10 weeks : I increased my daily 150mcgs to 175mcgs bloods taken 07.30am fasting other than water.

Ferritin 125 - (13-50) vitB12 active 150 - (37.5) vitD 114 (50-175) folate is being re tested

TSH 0.915 (0.27-4.2) FreeT3 4.18 (3.1-6.8) F Thyroxine 20.8 (12-22)

CRP 1.17 <5

Can you please advise me on the above if there is anything else i can do, as still fatigued, still nauseated on and off, sleeping not good, balance issues and feeling dizzy most days.

I am taking 4 hrs after levo , B12 oral spray VitD+K2 oral spray, cod liver oil capsule, Selenium 200mcg daily.

Sending Best wishes to all Stay Safe & Stay as well as you can!!

Hi. I see a medical herbalist who specialises in thyroid. She has me on magnesium. It’s a powder that makes up an orange drink. She has me in selenium as well. She makes up a tincture for me every two weeks addressing adrenals, that’s your fatigue. I highly recommend seeing a medical herbalist who specialises in thyroid. Also she has me doing doing deep breathing and meditation. Now I’m a gym girl and that’s not my jam but it does work. It’s nervous system directed. I hope u will at least look up to see who is your area. It’s natural as well. Kid rest regards NIKEGIRL

I was low in 2014 and was just so unwell. I saw the same medical herbalist That I am using now. She is 10 miles from me but is great. Ring and talk over the phone first to see if you like what they say and who have they professionally treated before and with what success. Ask how long it will take for treatments to work so you have some idea on a timeframe and don’t get frustrated. I’ve got Graves and know it will be 1-2 years before we can turn my body around. I know that so I can mentally accept that. Kindest regards NIKEGIRL

Please do not rush into seeing a medical herbalist.

Straight away it's obvious that you are not converting T4 to T3 very well:

FreeT3 4.18 (3.1-6.8) = 29.19% through range

F Thyroxine 20.8 (12-22) = 88% through range

When on Levo, FT4 and FT3 should be balanced in the upper part of their ranges, your FT3 is very low compared to your FT4. T3 is needed by every cell in our bodies and it's low T3 that causes symptoms.

Your nutrient levels are all good so conditions are excellent for good conversion to take place, so obviously you're not a good converter and would benefit from a slight reduction in your Levo and the addition of T3.

If you want to test your adrenals then do a 24 hour saliva test that measures both cortisl plus DHEA. This test is available from Regenerus or Genova Diagnostics, details from ThyroidUK here:

Please don't consider wasting your money on doing an adrenal test with Blue Horizon or Medichecks, they only test cortisol and don't test for DHEA, and two of their reference ranges have zero as the lower limit which is useless.

Thank you so much seaside susie your advice is always top dollar in my mind, I will look into introducing a tiny amount of t3.

Are you on strictly gluten free diet?

Think you may need addition of small dose of T3 alongside levothyroxine in the end

Ferritin...presumably range is 13-150...not 50

B12 presumably you are supplementing ...looks fine ...perhaps could reduce B12 dose a little

Vitamin D looks fine
