My husband has following symptons, is this lupus?
He is taking high dose of Vit B daily and the seizures are now more infrequent than they were when he was on anti
seizure
drugs. He also suffers from gastro problems too and complains that nothing tastes right whatever he eats/drinks. Also has neuropathy in his hands and is quite depressed.

Anyone else have the uncontrollable urge to shiver or shake muscles after fitting?
I've recently had a large cerebral lupus flare causing a huge amount of seizures and fitting, and after the
seizure
is over and I've "come round," I have the uncontrollable urge to keep shivering, or shaking, or a movement which may resemble tapping one's foot, or something along those lines.

Seizures
She was taken to hospital the first time and the doctor said it wasn't a
seizure
even though she watched it happening again. Does anyone have any experience of this? Mum is quite poorly now and has been peg fed for about a year, is incontinent and hardly speaks. Horrible, horrible illness.

I don't like change :(
Later though I had yet another
seizure
, this one two minutes long. Apparently during the
seizure
someone had picked me up and put me on a chair because that's where I came round. It was weird.

Fatique, listlessness, depression - are these a common side-effect of Avorvastatin and/or Ezetimebe?
Am also on three types of anti-
seizure
medication as am epileptic. And menopausal. Sigh. Doesn't life really do its best to get you down sometimes?! Would love to hear from anyone who has any advice, tips, comments, or who can just sympathise, really.

Am driving again now thankfully as the medication has kept me
seizure
free for 18 months so was able to apply for my licence back. To further add to my problems am suffering with low blood pressure and they have told me I cannot go back on the transplant list.

Really down in the dumps
Last weekend suffered a
seizure
which scared the hell out of me. Since then I've been having really bad panic attacks and even had to cancel a night out this weekend. My gp has been really good and given me something to help and some time off work.

newbie wanting info
Was given steroid injection but a few days later (early March) had a
seizure
which my GP said was steroid induced. He said I won't have another
seizure
once steroid goes out of my system. I haven't had another, thank God! Has anyone else had a
seizure
because of steroids?

Food reactions. APS causes?
I'm talking something that looks like a
seizure
with itching and flushing. I'm being tested for ME, and I know that some people with ME have developed allergies to all foods, but I'm wondering if that's happened to any of you with APS? Thanks. Linda
