Rule of scars
may I propose a rule of
scars
If the scar on your leg where they Inserted your catheter (and any attached bruising )has not finished healing then the scarring on your heart probably hasn't either and you will need to adjust your activities accordingly

REPOSTED - replies wanted - help please! Adenomyosis and answers
Long story short, they have suggested a few things that are likely to be the source of my pain. 1) endometriosis
scars
/adhesions from previous surgeries (they did not want to remove these as they believed they would just grow back and cause more problems), particularly evident in and on my bowel 2

Thyroid Surgery Scar
I am 1.5 weeks post op. The scar is awful. I didn't get advice other than use soap and water from my surgeon. I got an otc product called Scar Away which is silicone based. I started using it 5 days after surgery. I am wondering what I should be using on the scar for optimal healing... I hate scarfs

Do I need to see my doctor if I have Vasculitis?
Will this damage clear up as it heals or will I be left with
scars
, because it looks horrendous?!

Secondary Endometriosis from C Section
Just wondering if anyone here is at the other end of the endo I spectrum? Rather than endo messing up my chances of kids, I got it in my c section scar whilst having my twins. I got it because I had kids, because of a sloppy surgeon, apparently womb cells get caught up in the scar by accident. No one

Here is something I wrote awhile back.
This heart of mine has so many
scars
that reflect on the outside. I watch while everything and everyone I love and care about quickly pass me by and disappear into the abyss. The people around me only see a puppet wearing a mask so no one will ask and no one will notice anything at all.

Old sensations resurfacing?
This may sound strange... but has anyone else experienced feeling old injuries or
scars
as you’ve tapered? Spots that haven’t ached or bothered me in years (surgical scar, where I broke my wrist that sort of thing) I have become conscious of intermittently as I taper. Like “ghosts”!

Never sober for long

New and Needed a New Outlet
I have many large
scars
on my arms and legs. I even attempted suicide...a few times. In August of 2010, I swallowed 30 ambien and 10 lorazepam. After a fight with that man. I couldn't take it anymore. Every day was worse than the one before. He made me feel like I couldn't do anything right.

Bacterial Menningitis in 1990's
Another bad blow reminded me of the damage and life long lasting
scars
? of the Menningitis experience. I'm pretty sure it changed me, but there's no follow up on that. Just a odd story that becomes another stitch in the tapestry of our journeys👍🏽👍🏽☘️☘️

Update 3rd ozurdex implant
Hi guys. Had my third implant Tuesday. Different Dr again so was a bit nervous. She seemed a bit awkward putting the clamp in but I've had no problems after. Just watery and achy for the first day and a bit of a blood spot but not too bad. Sight seems a bit improved already which is good as before inj

2nd attempt to remove wisdom tooth failed
Ive not cut in about 3 months but have a whole lot of
scars
on my arms that are very noticeable if i dont wear long sleeves, so i really hope i dont get questioned about them because i dont own any pet tigers i can use as an excuse as to why they are there.

Today's interesting molecule. Taurine.
So I spent a couple days researching this molecule and finally just now I began to find some truly interesting links: - Creatine-supplemented diet extends Purkinje cell survival in spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 transgenic mice but does not prevent the ataxic phenotype. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed

Unidentified small white itchy bumps even morning when I wake up. Bug bites or skin reaction ?
I wake up every day -every. single. day- with small itchy white bumps on my body They definitely look like mosquito bites and they are always isolated if I have several, so I doubt it could be bed bugs The thing is, I get them only when I'm near my bed and just after I woke up. That's why I thought they

End of Trial
I had been on the LOGS trial for recurrent low grade serous cancer for the past 12 months. It has been keeping the cancer mostly stable but not without some complications. The medication had been having an adverse effect on my heart output. I had been through two dose reductions but sadly my heart function
