Falling asleep and like being electrocuted
Sooo weird but I am so stressing right now. I've just been going to sleep and I was thinking about something completely erelevant to what has just happened to me. It didn't feel like I was falling or anything like that but it has woke me up and now I'm terrified to try and go back to sleep. It felt like

Waiting for 2nd Lap
Hiya everyone, haven't posted on here before but feel like I need some support. I've had endometriosis since I was about 17, had my first laparoscopy in 2013 when I was 20. My symptoms began again about 6-7 months ago & have been referred back to a consultant, had a scan and an endometrioma was found

What does Pleural Scarring/Thickening mean?
I have anxiety & I've went to the ER many times over the past 10 years due to palpitations or anxiety related breathing issues, no telling how many Chest X-rays I've had but in 2012 one showed pleural thickening at the lung apices, my GP said it was capping "age related" or old scar tissue from past

Wound
Has anyone had their clips removed and had an area of wound come apart. This happened to me today and I'm now on daily doc visits. I'm disappointed that scar healing will delay chemo and I might end up with a less neat scar. What if it doesnt heal? Generally just worried because brain over analyses

[ I'm new ] I don't know what to do, Depression
When my parents found my
scars
a few months ago they freaked and from then on I lied to them pretending I was okay and it worked because I am in my room all the time. I have never had meds for depression and can't tell my parents again. I just want to be happy again but don't know how.

Not AMD at all but scarring from looking at the sun???
I am a bit confused. I was diagnosed with AMD, age 55. Since then the ophthalmologist has been doing annual retinal scans and telling me it all looks stable. That was in Germany. Now seven years later I have returned to the UK and finally got a hospital appointment for them to continue the monitoring

Scarring
I'm due to have my first laparoscopy in August and I'm really worried about the
scars
. I am a recovering anorexic of 7 years now so it's not a big problem anymore but I've always had an obsession with my tummy.

Recurrence Of Symptoms - I'd Like To Know What I'm Dealing With.
I have lower pelvic pain at the front, right where my lap
scars
are (tummy button is worst). When I move I get a tugging sensation. I also have lower back pain, this radiates from the centre of my back (spine area) to my hips, and is worst on the left.

Wound advice
After having a laparoscopy on thursday my partner was rushed in on Friday for emergency surgery. With everything that's be going on, I only last night studied my discharge papers from the hospital. I find they have put down a totally different procedure to what I had done, no wonder that I can't find

Schema therapy failed me
Hi, I'm a 40 year old BPD sufferer, just coming to the end of a disastrous two years of an NHS Schema therapy trial. If I didn't trust people before, I certainly don't trust people now. I feel very let down by the therapists I was assigned, one in particular has been extremely unprofessional throughout

Hi, I had a partial oesophagectomy and partial gastrectomy just over 2 years ago. Over the last 3 weeks I have developed a pain where the op took place that only occurs when I stand up i.e. when my insides stretch. Anyone else experienced this? I did have a CT scan and have a PET scan on Monday and they

Worried newbie needing advice about first lap
I am a model and am worried about going through with the surgery as the
scars
will affect my work as I do a lot of swimwear and fashion work. I would be devastated to go through with it to then find nothing but equally terrified they will find endometriosis and the problems of that.
