I have changed my name and profile picture. Thanks for the suggestions fellow runners!

Photo shows battle scars - bites from midges on the marshes!

Now, back to the sofa with a cream cake .... (ha!)

Many congratulations to you and a big enormous well done. That's fab and a huge achievement. Don't forget to get your badge from the link on the right.

Congratulations and to my mind you deserve the cream cake (just the one-don't undo all the good work😉)

That is absolutely brilliant - congratulations!

And I understand that you have a grace window of an hour post-run so anything you eat then is calorie free. Honest!

Flipping auto correct, bask in graduation glory not basketball!

I rather liked relaxing in basketballs. It felt a little like a ball pit for adults!

Oooo I love the idea of a ball pit for grown ups. Could we pass it off as some kind of therapy/post run massage?

For me, rather than cake, it is bacon, eggs, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms and bread. Either way, helps me run, so I am happy with that

Excellent ... congratulations... Graduate!

PS

Ditch the cream cake... you will need to stay in trim as you head towards 10K :)

I did a pizza instead but back on straight and narrow today with porridge and rather sad looking salad in my bag for lunch.

10K? I don't think so, but I really want to get to 5 faster. That's my next goal.

Thanks for advice.

Phew!

My problem has always been that once I start treating myself, I find it hard to stop. So even if you are joking, it is good advice for me. :-)

Thanks. I suspect it isn't grammatically correct, but hey! I'm a runner! Who cares!
