Post lap bandages and scars
Hello ladies. I had my lap two days ago. The surgeon and the nurse didn't give me any advices to take care of the scars. Did you take the bandages off the first day ? Did you change them ? One of them is bleeding a bit, I don't really know how normal it is. What about showers, I went for the option

PF, IPF and ILD - excellent new patient guide available
One of worst things about having IPF or PF is the complete lack of a good article explaining the disease and the various terms used (types of ILD, tests etc). Below are some links to an excellent new patients guide produced by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (pulmonary fibrosis news website) that

Controlling pain while exercising with endo ?
Hi Ladies, I am wondering if anyone has found a way of controlling pain whilst exercising with endo? I'm 18 months post lap, stage 3. My op scars still hurt and pull when I'm exercising, only holding them seems to help. I am thinking maybe some kind of compression garment might help. I am also 4 months

I'm pretty nervous as I have scar tissue so there could be some complications where my surgeon may need to open me up more. I'm scheduled for two weeks off--the amount my school district

Red Pigmentation Spots & Scarring
Hi all, I'm new here on 'MY SKIN' and i was just wondering if anyone can help.. I suffer from moderate acne which is localised to mainly my cheeks and chin. I'm not 100% certain but i think its caused by a hormone imbalance as i also suffer from irregular periods. My GP has given me a cream called DUAC

Skin Hassles
I usually get a skin itch each time after bathing and it's real stressful and painful, what could be the cause because this has been happening for a year now.

No info on lung condition
My husband unknown to us had lung fibrosis and was being treated for COPD. After a hip operation he sadly passed away with lung fibrosis but we were never told of this condition only the COPD. I am still tormented why no one had told us, 😪

Choledochal Cyst - looking for others
My 13-year-old was diagnosed with an asymptomatic choledochal cyst about a year ago, and will have surgery this April. She's understandably nervous and would love to communicate with another person who has undergone this surgery. Would love any connections we can find. Thanks!

Autonomic Dysfunction
This is aimed at the gurus that know all about autonomic dysfunction. I had my appointment today. I mentioned the right side face numbness (among other things). He said it seems to be that my main problem is autonomic dysfuncfion. He's organised a tilt table test and an MRI/MRA. Also a lot of adrenal
