Sorry for long post. I got offered a cesarean at the start of my pregnancy due to health reasons by my consultant. when i have asked my midwife and consultant (on pretty much every visit) about my options for birth they have said it was too early to discuss and i should wait till my 36/37 week appointment

Scarring after removal of epiretinal membrane
I had an epiretinal membrane and had it removed five years ago at the age of 66. It was unsuccessful, and that was because I was told that there is scarring in front of the retina. I was under the impression that nothing could be done, and my eyesight is significantly worse now than before the surgery

Levator Ani spasms
I had a sigmoid colectomy in March of 2011 and exactly one week to the day I came home from the hospita,l I started having severe rectal pressure, as if to have a bowel movement. For the following year, my colorectal doctor tried all kinds of medicines and therapies and said in his 20 years of practice

Skin prickling + itchy feeling w/o any rashes
Recently,I've been experiencing a sort of sharp prickly feeling on my body on and off along with feelings of itchiness, but there's no bug bites on my body whatsoever. It's making me freak out because this has not happened before. I read online that it could be due to parasites in the body, but it could

Bioflavonoids
I'm wondering if anyone on these boards has been recommended to consider taking these. They are thought to, possibly proven to, strengthen capillaries, so if that's the case, mightn't they not tend to prevent bleeds? I've taken rutin for years and years, but at the time my CNV/AMD started I was using

How to manage/reduce scar tissues after circumcision surgery?
I am 13 days post surgery. Most of the stitches are gone. Swelling reducing but still there. Feeling better. Things bothering me are 1. Significant scar tissue formation along the cut. I understand a ring would be there along the cut for lifetime. But there are small swelling like ridges where the stitches

SLE & Pneumococcal vaccine ?
Hi! My GP offered me a Pneumococcal vaccine. When I asked if it's live he said yes but NHS says otherwise: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/pneumococcal-vaccination/ Has anyone had an adverse reaction to it? 🍂 🍁 🍄🌻🐿xxx

Your surgery scars
How bad or good are they? How many incisions? I have lots of scars on my body however none on my stomach & that’s all away to change :( What did you use on them after surgery? I have previously used Bio Oil but didn’t find that it worked for me unfortunately. X

Bowel symptoms
So, straight to it.. I need to put my feet up on a stool to have a poo! My question is..How many others have to do this? and if diagnosed did it relate to where your endometriosis was found? A brief note... I’ve had many symptoms over many years (about 18 years), I’m undiagnosed and this more recent
