Finally have a date for salpingectomy
Things are finally starting to look up! I am booked in for surgery next week, after which I can’t finally start my IVF journey. After having the surgery cancelled in March due to COVID, this has been a long time coming, we have now gone into a local lock down and I am again on tender hooks but fingers

Surgical consult yesterday for bilateral salpingectomy
I have double hydrosalpinx so they say it is necessary because it impacts implantation and can even cause miscarriage. Has anyone ever managed to repair their tubes, rather than have them removed? I am so sad to have to do this, but don't want to put any good embryos in extra danger. Still the idea of

UPDATE: deciding to freeze our pair of day 3 embryos
It really seems that the best thing for us in our situation (or for me anyway if my husband buggers off as seems likely at this point) is to freeze our pair of day 3 embryos tomorrow as recommended by the doctor and transfer both after I have a
salpingectomy
or at least get the hydrosalpinx question

INFERTILITY WARRIOR
By March I had undergone two Laparoscopic surgeries one being the
Salpingectomy
that lead to the removal fallopian tubes. No one plans for these life changing events and we were snapped back to reality real fast.

Working with endometriosis 😓
I had a laparoscopic
salpingectomy
about 3 weeks ago and find it hard to be at work. I feel so defeated! I’m always a great worker and ready to get through my days. Not to mention calling in and not having money is getting really worrisome.

Pain after hysterectomy
I am now 4 weeks on from a hysterectomy, bilateral
Salpingectomy
and removal of endo. I am still absolutely shattered all the time which i expected to a certain degree but i also am still in lots of pain which can be sharp and severe at times. Can anyone shed any light on how long the pains last?

New plan of treatment to start a course of Doxycycline prior to egg collection due to salpingectomy? Anyone had this ?
Follow up appointment since failed FET, new plan is to commence on Doxycycline prior to egg collection. Just incase there is any infection from having both tubes removed? Anyone experienced this?

Salpingectomy advice
Anyone else had to have both tubes removed, what sort of time scale should I take off work, my understanding is it could be two to three weeks, does this sound about right?

Endometriosis?
Hi all, so I had my surgery on Friday- I was expecting to have
salpingectomy
and HSG for my blocked tube. After I came round I was told they didn’t need to remove it as it wasn’t blocked but they had to remove a lot of endometriosis scar tissue from it instead. Has anyone else been through this?

Salpingectomy
Good morning, I had a
salpingectomy
to remove a hydrosalpinx on Tuesday. They also had to remove some adhesions in my uterus. We won’t be doing IVF as we already have one child. I just wondered if there were any success stories of natural conceptions after a
salpingectomy
?

Egg freezing - no funding available within the UK
I am based within West Hampshire CCG, and had a double
salpingectomy
late 2017 due to adhesions and a long list of other Gynae issues. I heard back from the lead GP today to tell me that no funding of this kind is available on the NHS, they categorically will not fund me just for freezing my eggs.

8 Weeks after Hysterectomy Salpingectomy I still feel pain
My name is Lunje, 46 years old. I still get this chill pain along the abdominal incision and especially on my left side, radiating to the back and knee. Then bloating or feeling so full and pain even when I take water. Secondly, when I pee, and stand up to wipe myself, I feel more pee coming out in bits
